So when I was originally looking for a place to stay for Valentine weekend.I found this hotel on expedia which shows you nearby hotels and multiple websites with prices for said place. The sites said $54 a night but when I went to check in they said I didn't reserve, and when I asked if there was a room available they said for $73 a night. So that was irrataing and on top of that they said I need to put a $50 cash deposit. So that's more than I originally expected/planned. When I was leaving I piled up the used up bedding and put my garbage into a box and had the room cleaned up. I then went to ask for my deposit back when I went to drop off my keys, and the lady became super snappy saying that I supposedly never paid a deposit and even if I did that I wouldn't get it back because the room was supposedly messy. So not only did I end up paying roughly 120 more than I planned for they wouldn't give me my deposit back. The room was decent, most of the tv channels didn't work however.

Had to SEACH and WAIT for staff. The room was not as advertised. Go a few more miles and spend a few extra dollars. It looks like an old warehouse or garage barely converted. Has an odor to it I could not explain.

We were a little confused as to the location of the hotel since there were no markings or signs saying it was a hotel, other than the address we had. We went around the block a few times before realizing that it was the hotel. The property is a mexican restaurant with the hotel on the second floor, so a bit confusing without hotel signage on the building. Once inside though, we were greeted by a really nice woman in the restaurant who let us know that we were in the right place. She allowed us to take a look at our room before completing the paperwork (always a huge plus in my book) and we were really pleased with the decor and cleanliness of the room. Everything had been remodeled and updated in a chic/trendy decor that was really welcoming and uncluttered. Really nice ceiling fan and room a/c that kept things really comfortable and the bed was A+ for comfort with attention paid to quality sheets and pillows. Another huge plus! The towels were really big and fluffy, which again, is a welcoming amenity. We had a single queen room so we had just two bath towels and one washcloth, as well as one water cup, but it was quickly remedied when we asked for another set of towels and water glass. Entire staff was super friendly and accommodating. We were concerned about potential noise level from the restaurant and bar below, but were told that both areas closed by 9 p.m. which was good news since we were tired from a hiking trip and really wanted to get a good night's rest. So, with all the good things about this hotel, I hate having to be negative, especially since this is a newly opened establishment, however something needs to be said about the disruptive noise we heard throughout most of the night on the 2nd floor where our room was at. I am not sure if there are residents that live on the hotel level or why there was so much commotion, but we were awakened at 1:30 a.m. by doors (exterior and interior) slamming and people walking and talking loudly in the common area between rooms. We thought maybe they were coming in from a night out and after putting in earplugs, we tried to get back to sleep. But, the loudness continued unfortunately and there were often loud thuds and banging in the room next to us (like furniture was being moved and hitting walls) as well as out in the hallway. This continued off and on until 4 a.m. which was very frustrating especially since there didn't seem to be an onsite manager or anyone to contact to remedy the problem. There was also nobody around when we went to check out the next morning at 8:30 a.m. so we left our key in the room and left. I really wanted to give this hotel 5 stars and a rave review because of all the positives, but feel as if the noise level throughout the night was so disruptive and inconsiderate that it really took away from our ability to enjoy our stay overall. If that could be remedied for any future guests, I'd recommend this hotel to others without hesitation.
