I stayed in this "1950"s" hotel and was very impressed. The outside is certainly a 1950's building, but the room was very comfortable and CLEAN....I mean CLEAN! I've stayed in premier hotels over the past 40 years and this ranks up with the best. The...More
This motel was probably built in the mid 1950s when I was growing up here. Small kidney shaped pool, two level, wrought iron railings, etc. It's old, but cleaner than most any of the major chain hotels in the U.S. Comfortable bed, microwave, fridge (that...More
Due to the large fire in Northern California and evacuations, many of the hotels in this region were booked or going for $200 or more per night. This one was in a more moderate price range and the picture showed a nicely appointed and comfortable...More
Don't judge this book by its cover, while it might not be the most impressive on the outside, it certainly is worth the price. Brian (the manager) was very inviting and helpful and was able to help us out alot with the area from where...More
One of the most informative check ins, from local restaurants to how the remote works. Property is older but gives the appearance that they are really trying to upgrade and modernize.
Overall small room but fit our needs. Breakfast is continental with Kurig coffee and...More

My wife and I stayed here traveling cross country from SC to Or. in January, 2017. There are plenty of ground level rooms as far as your handicap goes. The interstate is a couple of blocks away so noise is not a problem. It is also very easy to get back on the 5. The hotel is on a fairly busy street there are rooms towards the very rear of the property and traffic dies down during the night.
The rooms are small and furnished with a desk, night stands, a small refrigerator. Everything was exceptionally clean and the bath rooms in particular were really nice having been nicely up graded. Very helpful woman on duty.
They keep the in room refrigerators off so if you need it mention it when booking. We were traveling out of season and their ice machine was turned off as well. Front desk person actually called some one and they brought us a bag of ice!! There is a McDonalds and a market directly across the street and a good Chinese restaurant s short walk down the street.
We would definitely stay here again, especially @$65 a night as I recall. Safe travels and happy trails.
