The room was wonderful. it was quiet. We did not hear any other guests. We didn't hear any service personnel. The breakfast was good considering the covid-19 restrictions. We are going to stay there again this week if I can get a room.

Clarion hotel, I swam in a warm pool, spa has real jets, you get a real bed new white I slept all night I can not stay anyware else I cant wait to stay again with friends i loved it was my second home
Clean rooms, friendly people, and a good breakfast - what more could you want? :) We were visiting on business and stayed in a king suite. The spa and pool were clean and well cared for. Breakfast was pretty standard, nothing special. The single elevator is quite small so expect to wait if it's busy and you can't have too much luggage. The staff was very friendly and attentive to any needs that we had.
The hotel at this location is actually a Clarion Pointe which is a newer brand of Choice Hotels that was introduced in September 2018. We are not sure what it was prior to that but according to Yelp it appears to have been a Clarion Inn and Suites which is another brand of Choice Hotels. When we asked the front desk, they thought it was a Holiday Inn prior to Clarion Pointe. Regardless of what it was before, we looked forward to trying a newer brand and expected that it was recently remodeled. We booked a king suite at this hotel online using reward points. We were traveling to Oregon from Reno for Christmas and decided to break the drive roughly halfway. The hotel is located in an area with a lot of retail businesses (Walmart and Fred Meyer are very close.) and restaurants. So, you can easily pick up anything you might need and grab something to eat. Driving into the parking lot it appears the hotel had some recent renovation work including landscaping to the outside, parking area and entry. The lobby and counter also appear to have some recent renovations. The front desk is to the left and a small lobby area is to the right with snacks for purchase. They also sell beer and wine at the counter. The breakfast area is just past the lobby. The hotel has an indoor pool and hot tub as well as an exercise room although we did not use any of them. When we arrived at our room and opened the door we were pleasantly surprised. It was a nice size room with a sleeping area and another area with a full size couch, lounge chair and a table with two chairs. We both commented that this is like a small apartment. There was also a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The wall at the head of the bed is completely covered with a picture of crater lake. The room was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to others!…
