I have been staying at Horse Creek Lodge for 5 years now, it is 1.5 hours from Bend, Oregon and is the perfect place to get away. The lodge offers a large Lodge house with huge kitchen, living room, outside grill and fire pit and four bedrooms with tons of beds. It is private and well equipped with everything you...

We had such a fun time at Horse Creek Lodge! The hosts / owners are super people who are committed to helping you have a fun vacation. We went rafting, hiking, had campfires - and felt not only away from it all, but well taken-care-of. The location is spectacular, so if you're thinking of an Oregon getaway, a stop in...

Horse Creek Lodge and the folks who run it are excellent. Find time to visit, and you won't want to leave. We rented bikes to ride Mckenzie River Trail this time, and next time we hope to plan a rafting trip and check out their new campground.

I have had the privilege of rafting other rivers with other guides ~ all fun. However, Gary and Ben were the best I've ever been on a river with! The whole experience was super easy. Booking the trip was easy, flexible and a very accommodating reservation process. Our guides were experienced, knowledgeable and entertaining, even the safety instructions!

I have been on the McKenzie River several times and our recent experience with Horse Creek was the best! Great safety instruction, excellent guides, easy to book and flexible, and even picked us up and delivered us back to our RV. We had lunch, time to swim and great fun. The trip was longer and more fun than any of...

If you're looking for a place to be pampered with 5 star amenities, stop reading right now. But if you're looking for a comfortable, clean, quiet place near nature with lots of recreational opportunities, this is it. I am torn about writing a good review, because it is a small place and we want to be able to go back...

Horse Creek Lodge is terrific. It's clean and cozy. It's a short distance away from the noise of the main highway, and has an easy trail from the cabins to Horse Creek and the McKenzie River. It's convenient to all of the "must-sees" in the area, reasonably priced, and fully furnished for cooking a great meal, or resting after a...

Loved staying here. We had the cabin all prepped for us and we were also left alone all night which was great. Cabins were so cute and loved the fully stocked kitchens. Walked on the trail around the grounds. Definitely going to stay here again.
