If you want to stay in a sterile white box go to Best Western or motel six, this is not that. Cute cozy clean an eclectic, this historic hotel will keep you interested in where you're at for multiple visits. it's relatively affordable and comes with a served sit down breakfast that was very good. Staff is affable and we...

We had a unique situation in that the Anchor Inn worked with us in accommodating a family reunion. With 50 people coming into to town, we were able to book the entire hotel for our family event. Kip and his staff were exceptional to work with and the entire family loved the 4 nights we were there. The rooms provided...

We just got home from a week long trip to Lincoln City and absolutely LOVED The Anchor Inn! we stayed in the "Horse room", ( the cabin rooms have a theme, and the lodge rooms just have amazing collections. The owner is an avid antique collector, and the hotel is like a museum-art gallery-showroom all in one. The home made...

This is one of the most amazing inns I have ever stayed at. We stayed in the lodge and were totally taken care of free popcorn, movies and cookies and homemade breakfast, it is so worth it to stay at this inn that is a family run business, do not pass it by, We stayed in the lodge which had...

The Inn has obviously been around awhile and is furnished with assorted interesting "stuff." We enjoyed the setting inside and out. The pros: we found the atmosphere pleasant, the evening cookies and popcorn. It was a suite and that was nice. We enjoyed a walk down to the beach overlook. The cons: We stayed here two nights and were surprised...

Visiting the Anchor Inn is like walking into a Nautical Disneyland of the 40's and everyday is a throwback Thursday. It was our first visit and we didn't know what to expect. What we found was a well-run Inn with helpful staff who went above and beyond. We enjoyed our first day so much we decided to stay another day....

After 32 years, we finally made it to Oregon again. We stayed in the State Room in the main lodge. I highly recommend this room with its private living room. The furnishings in our room and the the lodge decor were interesting, and provided much conversation. Everything was clean and well kept. Breakfast was delicious -- seafood enchildadas or Swedish...

The decor of this hotel must be seen to be believed -- the general motif is seagoing kitsch, but there is plenty more than that. There are many welcoming touches, including the comfy seating upstairs and down, the free popcorn and homemade cookies, the big excellent DVD and trashy book selection, the great free breakfast, and the friendly staff. Our...

My daughter and I took a three day break from our road trip at the Historic Anchor Inn. Great place to stay if you are looking for something a little out of the ordinary. We stayed in #3 and it included a sitting area, small bathroom, kitchenette, and bedroom. Nothing fancy, just fabulously quirky. The Inn is a quick walk...

This hotel is one of a kind! It's crammed full of nautical and naval memorabilia, organised in a fairly haphazard way. Every inch of the public spaces and of the rooms themselves is packed with the stuff. It's not for everyone, but there's no denying the character and uniqueness and guests who are looking for plenty of character at the...
