Beautiful grounds. Upscale room. Perfect bed for sleeping. Gorgeous facility. Massive Japanese garden. There was a rain storm, so we must return to walk the 1 acre garden. Enjoyed the garden view room. Both dinner and breakfast were outstanding. This was a last minute business

... probably the best hotel shower in Oregon ...
Are the beds pillow top and soft or are they hard?
yes, they are pillow soft, even good pillows. Slept very well here and I am pretty picky about my bed.

Unfortunately I cannot book again with you for 2017. Your posted price for the time I want to book went up over 100%. I realize the eclipse is coming to the area, but $460/per night seems excessive. I was able to book at another Best Western for half the price. Nina
To be fair it is a beautiful location and a very nice hotel. But just to clarify, I did call the reservation desk directly to book the reservation since the online system would not allow me to. I was told by the male person who answered for reservations that the rates were adjusted due to the expected high room demand in the area for visitors coming to observe the eclipse. That the hotel had received a large volume of calls - even from as far as Japan - to inquire about rooms. There was no mention of a wedding or other event and no mention that the $460 represented a suite room.
