We stayed at Sakura Ridge for two nights during our vacation to Washington and Oregon. The views from the lodge are magnificent! The lodge itself is a gorgeous log cabin. We stayed in the River Room and loved it! We had a comfortable King sized bed, our own private deck, an amazing bathroom and views of Mount Hood. The hosts...

The views of Mt. Hood and the Hood River Valley are something we at Sakura Ridge never take for granted. Happy to share. Thank you for sharing memories of your stay. Best, Deanna and John Joyer.

Beautiful lodge set on a working and peach groves. Top quality appointments in our room and bath. Magnificent, unobstructed view of Mount Hood from our room and private deck, across pastures and forests. Cows, sheep and goats mooing and baaaing in the pastures, and in the foreground, chickens and rooter doing their thing in the coop. Wonderfully friendly and gracious...

Thank you so much…Yes…we have a few peach trees, plums and 250 newtown pippin apples. Our primary commercial organic crop is pear…6,000 trees. The animals grazing on grass are actually katahdin hair sheep. They look like goats but not. We raise them for meat. Best lamb in the Pacific NW. Hope you can come back. We would love to give...

This chalet-style B&B is on a south-facing hillside just south of Hood River, OR, and looks out across rolling hillside to Mt Hood. The view is amazing! We were happy our jet lag got us up early, as we could watch the first rays of sun hit the peak, right from our terrace (or even from our bed if we'd...

We appreciate you letting us know how much you enjoyed your stay at Sakura Ridge Farm and Lodge. We have about 6,000 pear trees, a couple hundred apple trees and a house orchard with peach, plum and whatever else Farmer John decides to experiment with. The blackberries are now in season and are plentiful on the breakfast table. Hope you...

My wife and I decided to visit Hood River and discovered this lovely place online. The online pictures and reviews were great but experiencing this place in person was even better ... the long drive on the private road on a clear blue cloudless day with snowy Mt. Hood in the background ... the 5-star attention to detail ... the...

My husband and I had the good fortune of spending two marvelous nights at Sakura Ridge a couple of weeks ago. First of all, finding the place was so fun, and you think you are lost but then you come upon a farm gate and you wonder if you are at the right place still, but then you drive down...

My son and I stayed at Sakura Ridge for 2 nights. The farm (a working farm/Pear Orchard) and the accomodations are just beautiful; very quiet, relaxing, comfortable and clean, with magnificent views of the area and Mt. Hood from the room. Breakfast prepared by Deanna is, in and of itself, worth the trip...

I have visited this wonderful property by the introduction from the winery near by. As a Japanese, I was really impressed by the facilities this hotel provided, like washlet, floor heating and old Japanese furniture. The view from the window is like to the frame of the Mt. Food picture! The breakfast was also great! When I will be tired...

Recently spent the weekend at Sakura Ridge which was beyond wonderful! The lodge is beautifully designed and fits perfectly into the natural setting of the farm with the most amazing view of Mt. Really impressed by the farm stay at Sakura Ridge. The hosts are real salt of the earth people that we liked right away. They reminded me of some farmers I used to live with at a ranch in Oregon 40+ years ago. This place is very luxurious, almost too nice to be a farm. I saw no signs of earwigs...

Thanks! It is so true about country living. Plus, we are an organic farm so it was interesting when we went from conventional to organic 13 years ago. Up-tick in insects - though many are beneficial. Good Luck on your Farm ! We hope we can visit in the near future. Best. Deanna and John Joyer

Back a long gravel lane we found a delightful surprise in Sakura Ridge. Just minutes from Hood River, Sakura Ridge is a place even the locals are not aware of. It is located in the shadow of Mount Hood, surrounded by fruit trees, pastures for the sheep, little sheds for the chickens and a playground for the various farm cats...
