The grounds were incredible. The room was very cozy and regal feeling. Thin walls but its an old hotel. The elevator runs by a staff member only so be prepared to haul your bags up the stairs. We will definitely come back because the experience was memorable and charming

we were on 2nd floor and it was very comfortable. one night stay in route of other destinations. breathtaking views, both around the grounds and out at the Columbia river. We will stop in again. Very helpful staff. Modern hvac in room and easy to get good temps. Bed was very comfortable.

Very simple and historic building. Great views of the Amazing Columbia Gorge. Dog friendly hotel. We definitely would stay again, especially after the end of the pandemic restrictions. Would have been nice to really explore the grounds and hand out in the lounge some, but we hunkered down in our lovely room and ordered room service. Still, great space,and nice to get away to such a lovely location.
