Second time we've stayed at this resort. Grand Lodge North! Really nice facility, the unit was 2100 sq ft of nicely decorated, we'll equipped, luxury. Planning to go back to this one soon. Fun area with a couple of good restaurants nearby and it's an easy drive to Timberline Lodge.

The chalet was clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities we needed, including towels, washcloths, bedding, pillows, etc. I mention this because some other chalets in this complex did *not* have all these things. My understanding was that these were rented through AirBnB and not through the resort, so make sure you ask when booking. We stayed in unit N65, which was great. The chalet did not have air conditioning, and we happened to stay there on a particularly hot weekend, but there are large, powerful ceiling fans in the bedrooms, which helped with airflow. There was some occasional truck traffic on the nearby highway, but the resort itself is very quiet at night. The town of Gov Camp was *very* walkable from this location, and it was a short ride over to Ski Bowl,

Dear ish824, Thank you for the great review. All the condos rented through Collins Lake Resort and Grand Lodges directly do come fully equipped. Normally during the summer it doesn't get hot enough to worry about air conditioning, but last summer was hotter than normal. Our resort is right in the heart of Government Camp and within walking distance. We do hope that you come back and stay with us again in the future.

Can't beat the value. Clean comfortable accommodations. Beds were nice to sleep in and our condo was well equipped with everything we needed. Just an hour drive for amazing rafting and mountain biking out your back door on Mount Hood. 2 large hot tubs, pool and sauna to relax in the evening.

As soon as we saw the lodge it seemed to be empty and run-down but once we got to our room and opened the doors, what a total surprise. Everything was exactly as shown in the pictures provided when I reserved the room down to the covers. It was BEAUTIFUL, spacious, clean. The dining table was absolutely gorgeous. I had the master suite which had it's own bathroom, fireplace and exit to the deck which over looked a hiking path and small pond. The other room had double bunks with a double size on the bottom, perfect for the kids. Very beautiful and close to Timberline where we went twice. I would definitely stay there again!

We rented a 3 bedroom condominium for 3 nights over the Thanksgiving weekend. The condo was very spacious and well stocked. I was surprised that besides groceries, we pretty much had everything we needed to cook every meal in the condo. Each bedroom had its own TV, and the owner provided a plethora of DVDs as well. The location is just down the street from the grocery store and cluster of restaurants in Government Camp. It is also a short drive away from Trillium Lake where we went on Thanksgiving day for a brief walk/hike as well as Timberline Lodge (used for exterior shots for the hotel in the Shining). Behind the condo building, there is also a small pond with a foot path around it. If I am ever looking for a location for a group getaway within an easy drive from
