Like many national parks, Crater Lake is a bit isolated. There are limited places to stay nearby. This hotel is a good option south of the park. The room was very comfy--even if the TV only got one channel!--and the people were very nice. Good coffee in the morning and reasonably priced snacks. There are not a lot of restaurants...

We spent just one night in one of the A-frame cabins and we absolutely enjoyed it. The cabins were equipped with everything you might need and were clean and comfortable. Heidi is a perfect host and we were very glad to meet her and her friendly dog. She helped us with advices for dinner and breakfast options and even equipped...

Weren't sure what to expect, but we really liked Aspen Inn. Heidi was the friendlies innkeeper and even brought me a "glass" wineglass!!! Too funny! Thanks Heidi.......the Inn in close to the entrance of Crater Lake. You may want to take food or pick something up before getting to Fort Klamath area tho because there is VERY LITTLE close by....

Most friendly staff ever and very clean and comfortable. The owners went above and beyond to be kind and accommodating, even giving us a ride when we were desperate. We highly recommend this motel. A good place for families or couples with pets. Our dog Oscar loved it here and was even given his own care basket. The wood river...

We have stayed in a number of places though the years because, they were the closers we could find to a national park. Typically, we would arrive with very low expectations and still be disappointed. The Aspen Inn finally broke that losing streak. It is not The Ritz. Do not expect it to be. It is a simple country hotel....

Quiet, beautifully landscaped, immaculately clean, comfortable beds, dog friendly. The only thing missing was breakfast. We stayed in one of the newly remodeled motel rooms. The little A Frames looked adorable tho. The owner, Heidi is a sweetheart, and made us feel so welcome. Easy drive from Crater Lake. Great price too!!

Perfect distance away from the south entrance to Crater Lake. Staff was uber helpful and polite. Don't be fooled by the lack of a/c. It was perfectly cool at night even though it was in the 90s during the day.

Loved this as a stop prior to heading into Crater Lake. Highly recommend! A frame was great and cool breeze blowing through in August was fantastic. Is not fancy but the kids loved it! Owners super friendly and helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Aspen Inn. We weren't real sure what to expect, but found the staff to be very warm and welcoming. They were available to be helpful in any way that they could. The lodge that we stayed in was very clean and we enjoyed the opportunity to have our packed dinner at their picnic...

The Aspen Inn is not fancy and based on TA reviews and their website, I didn't expect fancy. So my expectations were met. We traveled as family (one 6 mo old) and with my father-in-law. He had the upstairs room in the a-frame cabin and we had the downstairs. I had hoped he'd have a bit more privacy (away from...
