I just returned home from a very disappointing overnight here. I will say that booked this hotel specifically because it had a whirlpool tub. I sprang for the Casanova Suite as a treat to myself and my aching back. Listening to the description from booking, I expected something really special, but what I actually got was a room that, much like Casanova himself, had probably seen much better days, in “younger” years. The room was definitely very large and spacious and the tub was massive, but neither felt “luxurious” or special, especially for the price. The tub, although large, was incredibly shallow (think kiddie pool), so you couldn’t really access the jets unless you laid down, in which case, the jets were literally on your neck as you strained to keep your head above water. If you sat, there really was no way to comfortably lean back, because it was so low. Not quite what one imagines when they’re looking for a jetted tub. I also sat on something in the tub and found a strange piece of hard plastic tubing that had been cut on a very sharp angle, narrowly avoiding that sharp end. The jet fixtures were also so old that little fragments of the finish ended up blowing around the tub with me. The tub and fans were so incredibly loud, that it made trying to enjoy it that much more difficult. The room itself felt very run-down. There were multiple holes/dents in the walls, chipped/scratched paint and the doors were in similar shape. The bathroom fixtures were rusting, towel bars bent and the finish was worn off. There was no hair dryer in the room and there was also soap scum in the shape of the previous occupant’s bar of soap on the bathroom sink, which left little faith in the sanitization of the bathroom itself. It wiped off easily, but it’s something basic and easily seen that should’ve been cleaned with the room. The sitting area came with a lamp that behaved like a strobe light and the kitchenette’s climate control had a dead battery, so it was unusable. Fortunately, there were other working lights to use. At that point, I decided to open the balcony doors to let some fresh evening air in. Then I noticed that the screen doors to the balconies were actually ripped and also didn’t close all the way. I was so excited and so hopeful when I initially booked this stay. It was expensive (not to mention also having to pay an additional fee to park my car in their lot overnight and finding out that there was also a $100 hold placed on my credit card that was never mentioned at check in), but I thought I would treat myself to a special getaway and some relaxation in a nice tub, because it sounded simply wonderful. I really wanted to give this place a great review, but it would be dishonest, as that was certainly not my experience. The positive things I can say, is that the staff was friendly, nice view of the river and I managed to sleep well. This place has lots of potential and it looks like it was once very nice. Unfortunately, it hasn’t been maintained very well. If you’re just looking for a big room, the suite is large, but if you’re looking for a well kept room with a great jetted tub to soak in, save your money and keep looking.

Made a park n fly reservation for June on 28 March 2022. Arrived at property about 3:30 p.m. on the day of reservation and was told that I had no reservation and that the one I did have was for July which was incorrect as I had not made reservations online but with the actual reservations clerk. After much back and forth the somewhat snippy hotel clerk told me that they had a room that I could book but instead of the original $297 it would be $598. She would not adjust the amount as she refused to consider that it was there mistake. I told her what to do with her room and left, which left me hunting for a hotel. After vacation I called back to make sure the reservation for July was cancelled and found out there was never one for July and I did have one for June which according to reservations was cancelled by front office on the day I arrived. No one has returned my call so obviously they don't care. Read another review that this happened to another person 9 days after my incident also including the price hike. Book this hotel at your own risk. By the way the hilton and others are far less expensive than this one and in much better shape

Stayed there in April, and the rooms were nice and large, beds comfortable, but the bathroom, especially the fans are awful. The neighbor next to us left their fan on all night, so sleeping was not as good as it should have been without that noisy sucker going off all night. I would stay there again, but hope they do something to up-date this property. The main restaurant was being "up-graded" so Sweetwaters was the only place to eat there, our waitress was very good, the food marginal, so I would rate this part of the property about a "5".

We were disappointed and sad to experience the loss of class at the Inn. Sean at check-in was efficient but impersonal with a patter designed to make us think we were getting a deal (“but I am going to waive the parking”, “I am upgrading you because we have overbooked” in an obviously quiet hotel. The discharge clean had not been checked: food in fridge, no hair dryer, no pen/paper, mirrors smeared, high dusting neglected, no extra blanket or pillow. A hair dryer was delivered. Requests for blanket ignored. Our sign for room service hung on the door all day with no service. On a high note, the shower hose broke during a shower. The very nice maintenance man took care immediately. The housekeeping staff appeared sparse. The pool (not likely warm in April) is well-tended and clean as are the grounds. The restaurant food is excellent (no room service) but the service was spotty. This was not a pleasure trip, so the stay met our need but I would not recommend this for an uplifting vacation. We did fine without housekeeping. The desk sends multiple texts and should have asked if we wanted them (“Do you need ____?”)The price was right for our suite and the quiet was good for us but not for the business. We hope the special service returns to match the nice setting. It is the only comparable hotel with outdoor access from the room.

Over $400 for a 2 Queen Room, and the hotel only provides a fraction of the amenities listed on any website including their own. Clean rooms, friendly staff. But no pool, steam room, sauna, club, etc. most Amenities listed are currently unavailable. A glorified Motel 6

Room not ready, waited over an hour after check in time with my family. I paid for a family of 5, only had 3 towels in room… the shower rod fell on my daughter during the shower. The toilet had to be flushed 3x to get rid of urine and tp. I’m not sure how our room was supposed to fit a family of 5 with only 2 beds and no rollaway available. Pool was closed. So we paid extra for a pool view room with easy access with no pool. The worst part was the fact that we got zero sleep because the walls were so thin. You could hear the people walking above us in the room. The conversations they were having. The party at 4am of course the hotel couldn’t help, but the sound of walking?? It was the worst experience I have ever had. I am a traveling nurse and I’ve never written a bad review for any hotel I’ve stayed in. But this was bad. I’ll never let a loved one stay here again. The only reason you got 2/10 was the distance to the mall and restaurants, which was the reason we wanted to be there to celebrate my daughters birthday for the weekend anyways.

This place is super run down and out of date. Walls are paper thin. Everything seems dirty, even if it isn't actually dirty. Front desk staff helped someone on the phone and a walk up in the middle of my checkin process. Many better hotels at this price.

It's so sad what a poor property management company and terrible food and beverage manager can do to a gem of a property. Room was dirty and run down with a balcony that couldn't be accessed due to needed maintenance and the restaurant only served what you world expect in a bad diner and was of lower quality than even the crappie diner. So sad for what once was a special place.
