I came to 'Eugen for the 2022 World Athletics Championships and stayed at the Travelers Inn for five nights. It turned out to be the perfect spot. Hayward Field is an easy walk away, and there is a Whole Foods nearby and a very comfortable pub (The Elk Horn Lodge) practically next door. The rooms are clean--the bathroom looks like it has recently been remodeled--and the staff is very helpful. I took a chance on this place and it paid off. I've had a very pleasant stay.
The room was small but very clean. It smelled good with comfortable beds. I thought I was too tired to take a shower but when I saw the beautiful newly tiled shower it just drew me in. It felt luxurious.
The room was well-appointed and clean, even though it was a little dark and dated. It was definitely worth the price, and I'm glad we chose to stay here. Our queen bed room had a microwave, fridge, TV and two couches which more than what we needed for our stay. The staff were friendly at check in and check out and otherwise left us alone. Often at these types of places the bathrooms are quite dirty, but this one was not. It had a clean countertop and clean towels and no dirt in the shower. We didn't hear anyone through the walls but we did hear some road noise. I enjoyed my stay here. It is a little bit of a walk to the center of UO's campus.
The Travelers Inn, located on 540 West Broadway is close to the Broadway Metro Cinema in Eugene. A little pricey, The Inn Did have a comfy bed, nice pillows, cable tv a small refrigerator and bathroom , You know the basic comforts of home. I can’t really complain about the room... Or the location. It was okay.
Stayed there with my family It was a trip to drop my son in university Very nice and cozy rooms The check in was seamless Mr.Dalip the manager was very helpful in guiding us around. Many amenities like 7-11 , burrito boy and Restuarant’s in walking distance of the inn Will definitely stay there again on my next trip to Eugene
We stayed there for 1 night. The hotel is very close to downtown. The room was basic, but everything was working just fine. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the host was friendly and helpful. Yogurts/etc for breakfast was nice, too. Would stay there again!
Really nice group of folks who own/run the place. Our room was exactly what we were looking for - simple and warm, comfy bed, everything clean and well maintained. We were just passing through town and the price was right. The man behind the desk was quick to help us out and gave us some tips on storing our bikes (just In case.) Also conveniently located near a great Mexican cantina (s/o Chula's!) with a welcoming staff and great margaritas after a long day of driving :)
It was horrible. I ended up paying for a place I did not stay at because I had to go somewhere else in order to be able to even fall asleep. Need I say more? Shame on trip advisor, I booked based on the reviews. Key cards did not work, several times over. Folllowed by lights not working. In hind sight the lights were better off. Carpet stains, iutside felt creepy, I just couldn’t sleep a wink there. So, ended up paying for a place I didn’t stay at. Go to the Hyatt, worth every penny!
This place was clean, if a bit dated. The mattress could use upgrading, but doable for an evening. There was a lot of street noise outside in this part of town, but I was able to sleep through it. There's a nice balcony on the front of the room (2nd floor) if you like to sit outside. Staff was friendly. Overall an ok place to stay on a budget.
We stayed for a night on our way to seattle. The room was a little dated in décor. but you can see the bathrooms are being upgraded slowly. The price was good but the mattresses could be renewed-I had a small spring come through the mattress protector and notified the desk person in the morning.breakfast was fruit and packaged Danish with coffee or tea.Staff were friendly, room was clean. For a place to rest your head for a night or two on a budget it was fine.
