I booked the hotel with a third party. We called ahead to request a room with either 2 beds or a king. We were told that rooms were assigned and we did not have a choice. We were assigned an “accessible” king. Which was close to what we wanted anyway. Upon arriving at the hotel at 6pm, we were told our room was not ready. We asked if other kings or 2 bedded rooms were available and the answer was yes. However, we were not allowed to switch from our assigned “accessible” room. I suggested that perhaps the “accessible”’room should ne saved for someone that needed it. The answer was no and we were required to wait. I thought this was rediculous and unreasonable.
Nice big room. Very Clean. Quiet. Breakfast good. Friendly front desk staff. Nice amenities…shampoo/conditioner/body wash. Excellent water pressure. I like the flat surfaces intended for luggage! I would absolutely stay there again!
Enjoyed our stay here. The room was extra large and had an additional area with a couch. Breakfast was typical of HIE but was good as well. Nice walking path near the hotel as well. Staff was friendly and courteous. Would recommend if in the area.
We were in town for a football game, this hotel was located within about a 30 minute walk to Autzen stadium. It’s not a walk I’d want to do at night though as it’s not well lit at all. Our room was great and breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Will definitely consider this hotel again.
Had a very restful night at this location. The bed was super comfy and the room very clean. The check in staff were very helpful and friendly and helped to get us settled quickly. This was near the University, so very convenient as well. We enjoyed it very much! The breakfast was also served hot which was an added bonus.
Pros: Spacious room. Comfortable bed with choice of firm or soft pillows. Clean property. Lots of outlets and USB ports. Location feels safe and we parked car where we could see it from the room. There is a Dutch Bros. Coffee right in front of the hotel. Breakfast is included (we didn’t eat breakfast). Staff were pleasant enough. Cons: Booked on Priceline. This is one of those hotels that they make sure they give you the worst of everything if you book on Priceline. Not sure why they do that as we are still paying guests. Front of property rooms get A LOT of street noise in the morning during commute time. Our room was near the to the elevator and next to the 24-hour laundry that thankfully no one used. Did have some people being loud in the hallways after 11pm. The air conditioner is the loudest I have ever heard. If you are a light sleeper this may not be the place for you.…
We stayed here for one night. They apparently had some system issues and so they gave us an upgrade to a bigger room. The room was clean, easily accessible from the elevator and staff were friendly. They also have a full service breakfast which was very good.
Stayed here in July. The checkin was quick. It's a quiet hotel in downtown. There are restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. Bathroom was clean and had hot water for shower. They have a small mart next to the reception to grab some late night snacks if you're craving something. Overall nice stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
My son and I stayed for a couple of nights while visiting U of O. Great location , walking distance from school. Room was clean, beds were very comfortable, shower pressure was great as was the temperature. Breakfast was just ok. Due to COVID selection was limited but was fine. The girl handing out the food (I don’t know her name) was very sweet and even answered questions about U of O. Gym and indoor pool seemed fine, but we didn’t use it. My only negative comment is the level of noise. You can hear everything from your neighbors room. My neighbor was constantly clearing his throat and I could hear people in hallway and housekeeping vacuuming pretty early in the morning. Overall I enjoyed my stay. Safe, clean and convenient. I’m sure we will be back if my son chooses to attend The University of Oregon.…
I stayed here with an organization helping out with the wildfires. The hotel was pretty much full with fire clients and workers, the hotel was clean, well run. My room was large, had a coffeemaker, refrigerator, microwave, large 40"+ TV. M king bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get out of it in the morning. There was 4 body pillows on the bed, all extremely comfortable. The hotel had free washing machines and dryers. Buffet breakfast was limited to hot breakfast sandwiches, fruit, coffee ,yogurt, all served by very friendly hotel personnel.Front desk staff were always friendly and helpful. My ten day stay was delightful.
