My son and I stayed for a couple of nights while visiting U of O. Great location , walking distance from school. Room was clean, beds were very comfortable, shower pressure was great as was the temperature. Breakfast was just ok. Due to COVID selection was limited but was fine. The girl handing out the food (I don’t know her name) was very sweet and even answered questions about U of O. Gym and indoor pool seemed fine, but we didn’t use it. My only negative comment is the level of noise. You can hear everything from your neighbors room. My neighbor was constantly clearing his throat and I could hear people in hallway and housekeeping vacuuming pretty early in the morning. Overall I enjoyed my stay. Safe, clean and convenient. I’m sure we will be back if my son chooses to attend The University of Oregon.…
I stayed here with an organization helping out with the wildfires. The hotel was pretty much full with fire clients and workers, the hotel was clean, well run. My room was large, had a coffeemaker, refrigerator, microwave, large 40"+ TV. M king bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get out of it in the morning. There was 4 body pillows on the bed, all extremely comfortable. The hotel had free washing machines and dryers. Buffet breakfast was limited to hot breakfast sandwiches, fruit, coffee ,yogurt, all served by very friendly hotel personnel.Front desk staff were always friendly and helpful. My ten day stay was delightful.
This is not a safe hotel to stay at. Upon arrival, we were pretty much told that car break ins are a problem. Well. Our car got broken into even after leaving it right near a hotel door under a bright street light. This is obviously a issue that the hotel just puts on the customer to deal with. Theirs no choice of where to park but their parking lot. Theirs glass all over the parking lot which shows just how bad it is. They need to have better safety measures in place as this apparently happens all the time. Absolutely ridiculous. The room itself had a huge stain next to the bed that looked to be previous throw up. I had a hard time not wearing shoes while walking around the room. That and the car break in alone ruined our trip. DONT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU DON’T MIND REPLACING $100’s OF DOLLARS IN WINDOW REPLACEMENT.…
This was our last stop on our way home and my husband said - Holiday Inn Express from now on" the others don't compare. We love your beds and the showers in the room I stayed in were the perfect size. We patterned our master bath remodel after the size of the shower in the Central Point location
This property was very good before and has since been upgraded to an even higher level. During our visit in July 2020 we were delighted with the upgrading, the improved quality of the room, the safety measures in place for guests and employees and excellent service. The meal accommodations made in response to Covid were all packaged food. Hard to accomplish with bacon and eggs but everything else was quite acceptable. The cinnamon buns and muffins were very good. Outdoor parking plus parking garage available.
