We loved our stay at the Timbers Motel for a night while in Eugene. They've renovated the motel so that it is modern and comfortable. The beds are lovely, lots of plugs for electronics, and a wonderful shower with a rain shower setting. The breakfast also impressed us. We'd been expecting something minimal, but they had a full breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, waffles, pastries, fruit, yogurt, coffee, juice etc. They keep things safe by requiring guests to wear gloves while serving. All in all a great stay we'd really recommend!
Great and cozy accommodations for an overnight stop in Eugene! Very safe and socially distanced interaction for check in/out. Recently remodeled bathroom had this amazing overhead rain shower that was quite lovely.
The Timbers Motel is an old style highway motel where even the key to the room comes on a plastic fob with your room number. Very much an old-time affair. However, don’t let the initial appearances fool you, as the rooms are clean and comfortable with a nice television and bathroom. While you could use the place for business travel, it’s really just a nice place to come when you’re visiting Eugene and don’t have a hard-work agenda. There is a great pizza joint just a block away as well as a Starbucks. And since you’re downtown, there are a lot of good restaurants and just a nice place to walk. The university is maybe 10 blocks away, if you’re visiting your student. Finally, it is family run and shows it. Well worth the money, I paid $110 for a king room.
We were returning to Portland from a trip to the Redwoods during the horrific wildfires and there were no rooms available anywhere south of Eugene. We usually book rooms in the nationally known hotel chains, but since nothing was available, we booked a room at this hotel. When I checked in, we were given a room on the second floor, which I usually hate because you have to drag all of your luggage up the stairs. When we opened the door, WOW, this room was incredible. Huge room, vaulted ceilings, really nice furnishings (rainshower in bathroom). This place was amazing!!! Highly Reccomend.
Great place to stay in Eugene, OR. Was a quick walk to quite a few restaurants and bars. Reasonably priced and accommodations were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great and more than we expected. Would class this a boutique hotel rather than a motel. Rooms had been upgraded to the highest finishes and the newly renovated "lobby" was gorgeous.
