This home was quite beautifully restored and the grounds are absolutely lovely. There was a slightly unpleasant "Old house smell" that diminished our enjoyment. The innkeeper, Jack, was very attentive. The breakfast was not anything spectacular. We were asked what time we wanted to have breakfast the night before, but then ended up waiting a half hour before being served...

Indeed, that particular morning was not representative of what we normally offer our breakfast guests. The sudden illness of our venerable kitchen cook had an palpable effect on the quality and timeliness of the meals. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.

We enjoyed our stay in the Casablanca suite over the 4th of July weekend. The inn and garden are beautifully maintained and decorated with style. Located in a quiet neighborhood. Our suite was large and had a small kitchenette. Breakfast was wonderful and Jack was a first class host.

Although our stay was a short 2 nights,we enjoyed the hospitality, lovely house and room and most delicious breakfasts. Host is very friendly and informative. Nice quiet street. A charming start to our vacation through this area. 👍. A recommended stay if you are passing through Eugene.

The building and the grounds are a treasure. From the moment you pull up you'll be in awe. Inside, the care taken in restoring and decorating is truly impressive. Our room was beautiful, very nice size, and with all the amenities. The gardens are a wonder. You much walk completely around the house to see every side and corner of...

Bottom line--a great place. Very scenic. The B&B and the grounds are immaculate and very inviting. We stayed in the suite above the garage. It was fantastic. Totally private and spacious. We were going to grab dinner at a local restaurant but instead, we grabbed a couple of bottles of wine, crackers and cheese, and some "to go" dinners from...

We had a short overnight stay, but were very impressed by the level of the accommodations and friendliness of the staff/owners. The room was very comfortable and had a lovely combination of modern conveniences and era-appropriate ambiance. Jack was so gracious and readily helped me and my husband out of a bind without question (long story :). We will DEFINITELY...

Beautiful home, lovely hosts and delicious breakfast. The gardens are lovely, the bedroom delightful and sheets and towels amazingly soft. We loved our stay there and wished it was more than one night. We had dinner at King Estate Winery which they highly recommended and it was terrific.

Lovely B&B with beautiful garden and good location. Jack broke off working in the garden to receive us and show us around. He was a gracious host and, after we spent the preceding night in a Holiday Express, it was good to be in more personable surroundings at C'est La Vie.

We only stayed for one night at C'est La Vie Inn but it is one to be remembered! Jack and Anne-Marie have thought of everything so weary travelers can have a comfortable visit. We are glad we chose this inn.

It was a perfect place to spend a night or two. The hosts were charming and the house was amazing. Breakfast was very tasty and a great way to start the day. Will stay here again next time I need a place to stay in Eugene.
