The experience was wonderful from A to Z! The front staff person was very friendly and nice and gave us a few dollars off the internet rate. The room was very clean and well accommodated. The bed was comfortable. The only drawback was the window air conditioner was very loud. That shouldn't stop someone from taking advantage of the hospitality of this property.
First off, the room was inexpensive and clean with a comfortable bed. If those are the only 3 things you're looking for, this is your place. However, unless you're a heavy sleeper, go elsewhere. The property is situated between the split one-way roads of a major highway. My room was just off the midway point and traffic noise was horrible. Also, the heating unit rattled loudly whenever it ran. A suggestion to management: The gap between the door and the frame was huge. Some weather stripping would cut down on both the noise and your heating and cooling costs. Also, black-out curtains don't help much when when they're several inches from the widow and wall. The outside of the building is lined with lights which is good for security, but they shine in through the windows, around the curtains. Parking could also be an issue if they're full as the lot is quite tight.…
This motel was a very nice place to stay. Our room had a king bed, fridge, microwave, hair dryer and all the amenities that we needed. It was updated and very clean. The shower was excellent - lots of nice, hot water!
I’m writing this in my room at this very moment because I was that passionate about leaving this inn a great review. Tucked in the rows of hotels in Eugene is this cozy set of buildings, full of rooms with more amenities than I was expecting as a solo, female traveller. The peaceful atmosphere extends to the service from the professional, well-informed man behind the counter (whose name I sadly did not get) to the prompt and thorough maid service. Like any hotel, there are signs of use in each room, but staying here doesn’t feel like a strange place. Soft lighting, clean sheets, and full pots of coffee in the office in the mornings make this little inn like home and the next time I’m in Eugene (which will be, hopefully, soon), I know where I’m staying.
We needed a pet friendly place to stay and I waited to long to book for our normal choices. I was a little concerned about the area of town and the age of the facility. Although the accommodations are a little dated, everything is in working order and the TV and A/C were definitely contemporary. Staff was very friendly and room was very clean. Would stay her again.
Booked this hotel to see a concert at the Stadium because the ad said it was close 0.8 miles, walkable. It was closer to 3 miles, not a good walk unless you are young, or a hiker. Room was small, old, in need of paint, the bed uncomfortable, terrible bedding, blanket had seen better days, and didn't look clean. Didn't use the shower, it looked like the spray would go through the open partitions that held the shower wall together. They also overcharged us double from the ads that you now see. Jacked up the prices because of the concert. The room just didn't feel clean, very old and in need of paint, curtains were shorter than window and let in morning light. Will NEVER go back!
Stayed here two nights as I was just passing through town with my dog. Extra $20 a night to have a pet, but I thought it was worth it. Room was clean enough, updated enough, safe enough. It's not a luxury hotel by any means, but I loved it here! Lots of parking where you can park close to your room. I was pleased that they have a laundry room on site! It's a coin operated washer($1.50) and dryer ($1.25) and worked great. They also have a "business room" with a computer and a fitness room with a couple machines and a TV. Cool Continental breakfast was waffles, toast, cereal, orange juice and coffee. Did the job for the price. Would stay here again!
I actually booked this room right before I took my AirB&B a couple of days later. The rooms seem a little dated but they are quiet and clean. The management was friendly and courteous. The laundry was more than adequate. Smokers are asked to walk out to the street to smoke. The breakfast was o k but not a big selection. This place is a really good value and easy walking distance to good food and coffee.
I don’t think anybody can get more affordable and clean hotel in that area.. front desk took no time to check inn.. asked us upon checking to our room is to howz everything in the room.. definitely recommended.. no problems whatsoever..
Easy to find location whether east bound or west bound. Good signage, very obvious. Well kept property although the buildings are getting up there in years. Paved yard, ample parking. Front end staff friendly and knowledgeable. Room 130 is fine.
