Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a new and clean hotel (opened August 2020). We stayed here in the summer of 2021 and again in August 2022. PROS + Lots of free hotel amenities in the common areas, such as a pool table and a gym. + Free buffet style breakfast, including eggs, breakfast meat, waffles, as well as cereals and breads. + Free 24/7 coffee and tea in the lobby. + All amenities are new and seem clean. + Located in a quiet part of the town. Franklin Blvd (in front of the hotel) takes you straight to downtown in several minutes by car. +Free and large parking lot. +Using the Hilton Honors app, you can check in ahead of time and choose your room before arriving at the hotel. You can use a digital key on your app to open the side door as well as your guest room door. You can check out on your app as well. CONS - Noise from Franklin Blvd (see "Booking Tips" below). - The free coffee in the lobby tastes terrible. Bottomline We will stay here again if the price is right. Booking Tips $ If you want a quiet room, do NOT book a room with "river view." Rooms with river view face Franklin Blvd (SR 126). You may see the Willamette River, but you would also see I-5 (Interstate 5), a potential eyesore, and it's noisy. If you HAVE TO have a room with a view (not a view of the parking lot), book a room on a higher floor.

We stopped here for an overnight on a road trip and found everything to be just fine for such a stop. Nothing fancy here: no coffee maker or microwave in room (just a mini-fridge). Odd-number room face the river instead of light industrial and freeway. You’ll have to drive a couple miles for restaurants as there’s nothing here. Breakfast had a decent selection of hot and cold items. Free parking with a permit given at check-in. Pool table in the large lobby; ice machine at ground floor elevator. Bath amenities are eco-friendly dispensers.

As a Hilton honors member I expected much more than this hotel offered. Very minimal furnishings and very cold floors. Horrible breakfast selection and the coffee was undrinkable. Not a good value for what they charge. Extremely expensive. Spent more on two rooms than I spent anywhere in my trip

Longtime Hilton Diamond member here. Over 900 Hilton nights logged. I've stayed at a Tru before in OKC in August 2019, so I know this is a different than the other Hilton properties out there. I was here for the entire World Track and Field Championships. I had to pay a high price for the room in Eugene, but I'm not taking that into my evaluation. The GM did me a real solid by allowing me to get a room a little more than a mile from the stadium in the first place. Lots of good things to say about this place. Asa and Kathie were great at the front desk with a can-do attitude. Shout out to Rae-Rae as well. Breakfast buffet is very good for Tru. Hot eggs and either sausage, bacon, ham sausage along with a plethora of standard items. Shower was excellent. Walk-in, enough for two people. No slip floor. A grip to hold onto. The NOT RADIO body wash, soap, and shampoo were truly refreshing. The only thing that keeps this from getting 5-stars is that there is no evening meal within walking distance of the hotel and Eugene pretty much shuts down at 9P. For someone like me who didn't get back until 9P, that presented a problem. If you have a car and are free in the evening, then it's definitely 5-stars.

High praise from an experienced traveler. We appreciate your comments and recognition of our awesome staff. Thank you. We're glad you were able to make to Eugene for this once in a lifetime event and chose the Tru By Hilton Eugene. Our location to Hayward Field is unbeatable (like Team USA). The hotel was not too far from the airport, maybe 15 minute drive. We checked in after midnight. Nice friendly staff. The room was nice, but we woke up around 6 because of the traffic noice.. so 2 floor facing the road is not recommended. Breakfast was nice. Quite a few options. Including pancakes... bagels... and there is coffee 24/7.

Feel like at home ! There are comfortable designs there , not only the table , bathroom , but also lobby. Enough parking . There are a lot the steakhouse close the hotel , just need 10 minutes to drive . So why I give 5 stars !! 舒服,干净的设计. 厕所很多很暖心的小细节. 唯一不好的是,厕纸的质量,有待提高,还是因为他们使用了环保的理念🤔.. 24小时免费供应咖啡和热水.

This is the best hotel i have stayed in. They had really helpful staff and they were happy to help. They always greet you with a smile on. I loved my room since it was just like home in which the tv had cool features and breakfast was delicious freshly made everyday. The lobby is like a cool game room to hang out in along with some smaller booths in which you can sit alone and relax or work on a computer. If you meet Kathie at the front desk, you are in for a treat, she is very helpful and very kind, she makes you feel like you both have been friends for a long time when you make conversation with her.

This was a nice hotel and perfect for a family reunion because of the great lobby space. It was a busy graduation weekend. Kathy at the front desk, with her trusty dog Noir, made it all work! She checked us in with calm and good humor despite odd requests and a change in our itinerary. So thank you to Kathy and extra pets for Noir for their hard work but making it all look easy!

Had a very nice stay here on one of their busiest weekends. Nice room, nice free breakfast and very nice gathering spots in the lobby for my big family during graduation. But what really made our stay great was meeting KATHY and her sweet service dog Noir. She was amazing on a crazy night, with my picky family and a zillion others each making 47 requests. Kathy somehow found us extra rooms, moved us together, switched us from king rooms to doubles and did it all with a smile. THANK YOU, KATHY! I sure hope Hilton/Tru appreciates you for the gem you are!!!

Q We were on our way to Seattle for my husband’s job. We love this brand from Hilton plus they have the BEST soap.!The lemon sugar body wash smells SO GOOD!. We checked in late and the front desk staff was warm and welcoming. The property is new and looks it! It’s SUPER CLEAN and the staff was always cleaning. We had our pets and there was plenty of space to walk them. The breakfast was hot and well stocked. The coffee was hot and they had a coffee bar. Every staff member said good morning while the cleaned up counters and common areas. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY.
