Beware: -Internet repeatedly cut off -Half the TV channels don't work, and employees know it "has been a problem" but it won't get fixed -A/C has no constant fan, which is terrible since the windows don't open -NO MICROWAVES IN THE ROOMS ...but each room has little inspirational messages on the walls, so that makes everything better This is a hotel for people who take occasional trips, and are apparently cold all the time so they won't be bothered by sleeping in a sweat box (Bonus points to this hotel's staff who are very nice and helpful, which is not typical in Oregon)

Hi Dan R, I am glad you left feedback. Thanks for choosing our EVEN Hotel Eugene! We always wanted our guests to have a delightful stay, no matter what the purpose of the travel is. I am sorry to learn about the issues encountered during your recent stay with us, particularly with intermittent internet connection, the limited TV channels, the faulty AC, and the lack of a microwave. IHG Hotels & Resorts sincerely cares about your experience, and I appreciate your taking the time to let us know. I have shared your comments with hotel management, who responded with genuine concern for the impact this had on your stay. I know they appreciate you sharing your experience and am confident they will take steps so this doesn’t happen again. I appreciate your kind words for our hotel staff. They'll be very pleased to hear that you remembered their friendly efforts. We can't wait to see you again! Cheers, June A. Case Manager IHGService

Hotel's Favourite
This hotel was easy to find, lots of parking and the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed at! The front desk customer service was super friendly. I loved that they had equipment in your room to work out...after driving 7 hours, I needed to stretch on the yoga mat. I felt like I was in luxury. I got the best night sleep in a comfortable bed. Thank you and I will definitely stay here again on my way up north.

Dear Truendug, I am so happy to hear that you enjoyed our yoga and workout equipment in the rooms! With all the crazy happening right now, and with gyms being temporarily closed, we are super grateful we are able to offer at least that for our guests! We look forward to seeing you again! I called directly to book my room- I am a disabled person and expressed my needs to be put in an Ada room this alone was a challenge nice lady on the phone had no idea how to book a room so she passed me on to their reservation line that was fine was told we would have a walk in shower but when I showed up they tried giving me a room with a tub- after getting that straightened out and went to the room it is not Ada room. No hand rails no shower seat unless you call down to have one delivered could have been handled at the front desk. Comforter had a dirty shoe print o. It. Shower had mold and they have all the seating down stairs marked to not sit on because of covid but had dirty rooms????? Asked about their breakfast and his weight bias response was they Didn't serve Bisquits and Gravy- rude! He told me there was a menu in our room that was a lie and if your gonna judge me you should look into your own back yard as I saw you smoking outside this wellness hotel!!!! I wouldn't stay here again even though the lady in the morning was super sweet and friendly- it only takes one bad apple to turn me off.

Dear L1438TJerikar, Thank you for taking the time to reach out about your negative experience. I am deeply sorry to hear about your check in experience, accidentally placing you in one of our bath tub ADA rooms, and the miscommunication that followed. EVEN is known for its unique restaurant options, which makes us stand out compared to other hotels. With biscuits and gravy being a staple for hotel breakfasts across the world, it is a great example of how we are different in our breakfast offerings, serving a variety of different breakfast options you wouldn’t regularly have the opportunity to choose from when traveling. This is communicated more in detail along with our other breakfast offerings in the welcome letter placed in each room. Our AM agent will be delighted to hear that she left a positive impression. We truly appreciate all the feedback during this crazy unprecedented time. Please don’t hesitate to call the hotel directly if you have any questions or concerns and we will work with you to come up with a solution that works for you.

I always enjoy staying here which usually is a couple times a month. It's a newer hotel with a friendly staff and the mindset of "your wellness" which shows with the exercise equipment in the rooms along with the best exercise room of any hotel I've stayed in. It's a mini gym with 3 treadmills, 2 ellipticals, a rowing machine and a large weight lifting area. Pre COVID, the restaurant had a good breakfast menu and the bar was a nice place to hang out at the end of the day. I look forward to it opening back up.

We stayed at this hotel because of its proximity to U of O’s athletic facilities. It’s a newer property and in very good shape. While it’s not a “5 star hotel” it gets 5 stars from me for the type of hotel it is & value for what you get. Rooms are good size, modern (internet TV), very clean, and the bed was comfortable. I appreciated the hotel having large dispensers of body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in the shower rather than those teeny tiny bottles that are an environmental crime. They also had a shower head with a hose, which is a luxury if you have to bathe young children. Each room has a yoga mat, exercise ball, exercise bands, foam roller, and yoga block. I’d never seen this before in a hotel, and I enjoyed having it. I’m not a big yoga person, but it was nice to be able to use the mat and do some stretching. There’s a small pool and a larger than average hotel size workout room. With Covid, the pool and exercise room required a reservation, which was responsible of them. There’s also free parking. And there’s breakfast available for purchase, as well as some grab and go snack foods. The staff seemed like they were college students, but they were very responsible and service oriented. If we’re back in Eugene, I’d stay here again.
