#2 of 4 hotels in Depoe Bay
The Surfrider Resort is nestled atop a bluff overlooking Fogarty Creek and the Pacific Ocean, located just two miles north of Depoe Bay, between Lincoln City and Newport. While at the Surfrider, visit Depoe Bay, the world's "Smallest Harbor" famous for whale watching or reserve a trip for deep sea fishing. Visit Newport for the outstanding Oregon Coast Aquarium, Ripley's Believe it or Not and the wax Museum. We are within a few miles of golfing, kayaking and waterfall hiking trails. There is no need to leave the Surfrider at all to simply watch the resident pod of whales play, eagles soar, seals nap, and the sun sets over the ocean from the comfort of your room or the restaurant and bar. The beach access takes you down to search for agates, make a beach fire and watch the waves crash into the unique rocky outcropping. We have banquet rooms that can hold up to 80 people and full catering available for weddings, birthdays and special events.

We have stayed here before we love this hotel. Staff is always friendly right there to help out, rooms very clean. We love to just sit on the deck to watch the ocean. The restraunt is also very good right on the property. This is one of our favorite ❤ hotels

Great place to get away and relax. Amazing view with a somewhat shared deck. Had a big jacuzzi tub, comfortable king size bed, "fire place" heater. Also loved that they are pet friendly. Would highly recommend.

I have stayed here many times because it has one of the best views on the Oregon Coast and is usually affordable. This time I was placed next to a very noisy family these buildings are old and everything can be heard through these walls. They yell and curse. The television in the room next door is also amplified by the closet without a door into the room I stayed. The manager says it is acceptable because they cannot hear it as loud from the outside. The television has been on non stop. All night. I could not sleep. I asked to change rooms they say all the rooms are noisy. Never had this situation in all my travels. Put your money towards a nicer place. Peace and beauty of the coast should experienced together.

I called late as I was scrambling to find a last minute location for our anniversary. Gabby was great on the phone and was able to get us in. Robert at the front desk was very helpful. We were treated with a free desert to celebrate our anniversary. What a thoughtful nice touch! Room was very comfortable with excellent views. Robert went out of his way to help with a few questions that we had. We were very pleased with the restaurant food. Had dinner as well as breakfast and very happy with both. I am very happy with this place and will be visiting again!

Walked in to see puddles all over the floor. Looked up to see if there was a leak but realized there was a room above and that the floor must have just been mopped! Puddles! Kept feeling a cold wind when sitting in the easy chair and realized it was coming from under the door leading to the deck which had about an inch gap at the bottom. Put a bath towel in the gap and the wind blew it out so anchored it with a camera case. Our window had moisture between the glass which didn't help the view. We wanted to be at the ocean during a storm but to watch it not feel it! We were going to watch a movie in the evening but couldn't get any sound for the DVD or from the TV. My husband is very tech savvy but couldn't figure it out. The desk clerk had no one available to come help us. There were several sugar packets in a container and one had been opened, the tea removed and put back with the unopened ones. The sink and bathtub drained very slow! All that and no amenities because of Covid. We would not have stayed our second night but couldn't get our money back since we made reservations through a Groupon! Never again!
