This is the second trip we've made to the Channel House, both staying in the Captains Quarters (Room #2 on the third floor). Our room did stay warm, but we rather enjoyed having the sliding door open a bit to hear the wind and rain and rolling surf. The view is spectacular, and we find the overall accomodations and experience...

Have stayed here several times mainly due to the location overlooking the incredibly narrow harbor entrance to Depoe Bay. If you are fortunate enough to be there when one of the Coast Guard boats enters the ocean through this extremely narrow channel, it is amazing. The view from our room looked over the harbor opening and pounding surf. The rooms...

We've stayed at the Channel House twice and overall enjoyed both experiences. Both rooms (Admiral's Suite and Cuckoo's Nest) had nice accommodations, a fantastic continental breakfast each morning, and beautiful views and location. The only downside was the connecting room in the Cuckoo's Nest. It has an adjoining room that can be opened if there are multiple couples staying together....

Lovely inn, great location, but our room was 80 degrees with the heat off and the fireplace off. We had to sleep with both sliding doors wide open to get the room down to 71 degrees, and this was in late October. The location right near the ocean is amazing, but not so amazing when loud waves are crashing all...

In the past 12 or so years we have stayed at the Channel House (same room, Admiral's Suite) four times. It never disappoints and we always look forward to return trips, even going out of our way when traveling to Oregon to assure it is on our itinerary. It is not the fanciest place we have ever stayed, but it...

My fiance and I love the Channel House and have been coming here for years. The staff is great and flexible (very nice about arriving after hours, etc.). There are nice touches (chocolates, cookies, etc.) and breakfast is delicious! The beds are great, and the whirlpool tubs on the deck are amazing! I will say the one thing we don't...

This was not a good experience. It was not a good choice for us, three sisters traveling together. One said it looked like an old apartment building, and indeed, it still has lots of well-worn parts. The sinks may be fancy, but the shower and tub is old. The room didn't work for us because the bathroom door is right...

this inn on the Oregon Coast is wonderful. We stayed 2 nights in the whale watch suite and were not disappointed. The room had so many nice touches--robes, chocolates, fresh cookies each day, a fireplace, 2 kinds of wine available for purchase, and even an umbrella for those rainy, Oregon days. The manager, Sarah, was so helpful and kind. What...

This was our first time at the Channel House Inn and it was a pleasure to have stayed there. We were there for our 30th anniversary with privacy in mind. The room was secluded, had a great view, fireplace, hot tub, and a very comfportable bed. The sound of the waves with the door closed was just enough to be...

Had our wedding honeymoon and first year anniversary at the Channel House. It is wonderfully relaxing and secluded. We got to listen to the ocean and watch the stars from the deck hot soaking tub. Also get homemade breakfast items when we woke up, overall a great experience.
