Kishan shouldn't have a job requiring interpersonal communication. He's rude and, IMO, racist. I understand having a job you don't like but this seems to be a theme with Choice Hotels. We made two requests of Kishan to provide his manager's name and he refused. We were told, the day prior, that we could check in early if the room is ready. There was no mention of an additional charge. Kishan had an attitude from the start and wanted $20 for us to check in two hours early. When confronted about it, his attitude got worse (which I didn't think was possible). He said, "we can talk about canceling your reservation." Really Kishan? Thank you. You just canceled any future reservation we will ever make with Choice Hotels. You should find a therapist, girlfriend/boyfriend...whatever you're in to and anything that helps you with your disdain for this life and the people with whom you come in contact. In all seriousness, get some help Kishan. Everyone deserves to be happy. To Choice Hotels...he needs to be in the back of the house or the soup kitchen. I'll gladly pay for his unemployment.…
We found lodging here recently due to a huge Ice Storm in Salem Oregon. Hotel was OK but I was disappointed at what seemed like price gouging. Website had rooms at one ratee but when you called in the rates were higher. I heard many folks complaining about this. Check in was disorganized, they couldn't find my reservation I just made with them over the phone. They eventually found it but it was touch and go. Stay ended up being comfortable, no breakfast what so ever said it was due to Covid, Every where else I stay at has bags to go at least. They do take pets but if I ever stay again I would book online as they really went all over the place on their pricing.
I called with intent to make a reservation. Upon request the staff member was unable to describe what the process was for room sanitation between guests. His response was “I don’t know what you want”. With attempts to try to gather more information he suggested I go to Hilton. When asked what the rooms were going for he quoted a price much higher than available online. I’m not impressed.
Good hotel for a good price..staff was very nice very helpful..rooms were very clean and very comfortable to stay..we would come back to stay here again..very convenient location everything is very close.
I spent a week here and it was a great experience. The staff is great and the rooms are clean. It was quiet and located near several restaurants and coffee shops. We will be staying here each time we visit Corvallis. I highly recommend this hotel.
