Just came here and my dad and I looked at the sheets and there was crumbs, stains, and it looked like the sheets had just been flipped inside out and not changed. We did get a new sets, but it just makes me wonder what else wasn’t cleaned. Definitely not happy with the unclean sheets, especially in times like these when people are trying to be safe.

As a Wyndham Rewards member I have stayed at dozens of La Quinta properties. Usually a nice clean and well run operation. Not this one. From all the issues it is highly probable the ownership is hurting financially. Wyndham should seriously look into this. Starting with check in, at 6:00 no one was at the desk. Took repeated rings of the bell. The area around the desk was unprofessionally cluttered. The room was fine. The sheets were comfy but old. In the morning I discovered the coffee pot hadn’t been cleaned and there was a coffee packet still in it. After cleaning I made coffee. The coffee packet supplied was so small that the coffee it produced was like a weak tea. Went down to the desk at 7:00 for more coffee packets. After ringing the bell numerous times and waiting for 10 minutes I left as no one showed up. Oh yeah, I was awoken with a 5:30 wake up call I didn’t ask for. That’s annoying as heck. In the shower I found a dried up wash cloth from a previous visit. Gross! Upon leaving I thought I’d pass along a few tidbits to management. However, just like before there was no one at the desk. Rang the bell, waited a few minutes and left. Never to return

We stayed two nights at this LaQuinta. I don't usually write poor reviews but customers need to be aware of the poor management in this hotel. #1 The receptionist also does the laundry. Don't expect anyone to be at the desk in the lobby. You have to ring a bell and wait. The hairdryer in the room was broken so I called down to the front desk and asked for another one to be brought up to my room. I was told that she did not have time to run one up to me but I could run up and down the hall and look for a housekeeper. #2 No masks during the covid outbreak. The evening receptionist had her daughter (about 8 - 10 years old) who was very noisy and riding a hover board around the lobby. Neither had masks on. The kid was so noisy that I could hear her all the way through the elevator shaft from the lobby to the 3rd floor. #3 Filthy. They don't clean the rooms if you stay a second day. On the 2nd day when I asked them to take our the garbage and provide fresh towels I was told I had to request this on check in and the housekeepers had gone home for the day. Other guest had thrown their garbage, take out boxes and dirty linen in the hallway where it sat waiting for someone to pick it up. Disgusting! #4 No breakfast. We were told there would be a to go breakfast but the receptionist told us in the morning that the manager did not leave any food for the guests breakfast. The service at this hotel fell way short. I could go on but I'm running out of room on this review. Stay away!!

We had a remarkable stay at a La Quinta in Clovis, CA on our long drive home, and decided to stay at another La Quinta. I made the mistake of not reading the reviews here. The pictures look great, but like all recent reviews, it is extremely run down. The folks working the front desks hardly wore masks, nor did several guests going in and coming out, even though there are signs everywhere saying masks are required. The walls may have new paint, but that's it. The carpet is old and dirty. The chairs are dirty and/or broken. The bed skirts had stains all over it. All we wanted to do was sleep and get out ASAP. And we sure did the next morning. We walked out to a receptionist who didn't greet us but stared at her phone. Not friendly at all. The grounds for pets are UNSAFE as I found a used needle on the ground outside by the north exit! Luckily I saw it and was able to have my dogs avoid it. The location is too close to the freeways, so if you have a room on that side you'll hear everything. We went to sleep and had to complain about the guests above us as they were making a ruckus all night. The one upside is the lady went upstairs and had them stop with the threat of kicking them out. Still, I will never stay here again, and don't recommend it at all. If I could give zero stars, I would!
