When you visit Cascade Locks to explore the gorge, the Cascade Motel is a wonderful locally-owned option for lodging. The room we stayed in had recently been re-done, and was remarkably clean and comfortable. The owner took the time to stop what he was in the middle of to help me figure out a couple things I was looking for...

After spending nearly a week at the Cascade Motel, I feel that some things should be said. The positive side: The grounds are beautifully landscaped and include some very beautifully tall trees. Their golden leaves at this time of year really set-off the property. The cottages are cozy and very clean! I stayed in smaller cottage and then moved into...

The motel is neat, clean and affordable, especially if you stay in one of their carved up cottages that combine units on the same buildings which isn't mentioned on their website which is in need of a serious overhaul because it's not well written and a little deceptive. Still the price was okay for the area and the unit was...

We took a road trip to the Gorge and area. I'm a fan of older, historic motels and hotels. This place is older and I think they're in the process of remodeling the rooms/cabins. Our little room (#6) was stripped of any history and was kind of just motel looking inside. It was freshly painted but they hadn't put up...

(Unfortunately) We spent only one night at the Cascade Motel in August 2016, We really enjoy the cozy and comfortable room/cottage with kitchenette, tv, wifi, a bathroom with tons of pristine towels and a super comfy bed. We found the accomodation so pleasant that we decide to have dinner at home! The location is good and quiet, the lady at...

We tend to stay here every year on our way out to the Oregon Coast. Nice place, and just a little quirky, which we appreciate. Prices are reasonable. Some rooms are duplex style, some are stand alone cabins. Definitely a good value for the area.

Very welcoming cottage stay. Scot and his wife (owners)had a great story to tell about owning this great find. They were so sweet, who wouldn't want to support them ? Grilled dinner in back patio, over looking mountains and smelling grapes near patio. We were even allowed to eat them!!! Very clean and comfortable bed. Would definitely return.

My mother, brother and I came to Cascade Locks for PCT Trail Days and found this quaint little gem. The owners are very friendly and helpful and work hard to make this a very relaxing place to stay. We loved the space we had (compared to a typical hotel room) and the well-equipped kitchen. The owners also provide several BBQ...

We were greeted by Amy upon our arrival for our two day stay. She was was very friendly and professional. Amy walked us to our unit to be sure the room was acceptable and if we needed anything. It was spotless and very roomy. The free wi-fi worked fine. We really liked how quiet it was and that we could...

Arrived at the Cascade Motel for one night. Really quick and friendly check in and taken to our cabin (number 1, which is detached). Good sized room with an oven, hob, fridge etc. Meant we could have coffee and toast for breakfast with goods from the local store. Cabin was detached, so was really quiet. As we came back from...
