We looooved The Waves hotel! Very clean, cozy yet updated rooms. Super comfy bed. We stayed in the king La Colina room which had a small balcony that was ocean side. It was so soothing and relaxing to wake up the grey sky and ocean waves. Steps to the beach, insomnia coffee, and many other shops and restaurants. The hotel staff was very friendly and jumped to our requests with no hesitancy. Was refreshing to have genuine customer service! We are coming back to stay here as often as we can!! Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Hotel's Favourite
We stayed in early November at the Waves. We booked a third floor room in the La Colina wing, which gave us a gorgeous view of the ocean and sunsets. We could not have been more pleased with the cleanliness of our room, and no contact procedures in place. Our bathroom and kitchenette were well stocked with ample supplies, including extra towels. The Waves is a minute away from a great coffee house, Insomnia Coffee, plus is next door to Fultano's Pizza. We got take out one night from Mo's. We had trouble with our tv one evening but after a call to the front desk, a staff member arrived immediately wearing a mask, gloves, and with a universal remote so our remote wouldn't be touched. Rooms are thoroughly aired and sanitized between customers. Great job, The Waves, for making us feel welcomed and safe.

I truly enjoyed my stay here! Excellent view, and with a balcony, excellent proximity to the beach and downtown, very clean, modern appliances, fireplace, a very comfortable bed and I was provided all of the basic kitchen necessities. It was over all pleasant and cozy, just right for me☺️ I intend to stay her again in the near future.

This is such a great location to stay in Cannon Beach! We had a king studio upstairs. Nice little balcony with chairs with view of the creek and beach. You can’t see Haystack rock from the room but you only need to walk a few steps down closer to the water and you can see it beautifully. Our room had a nicely stocked kitchenette, table and chairs with a view and a gas fireplace (no screen or glass in front of the fireplace which would worry me if I had young one or pet with me). There is a fan in the closet if you are like me and like moving air and white noise. The bathroom counter area is small, no where to put toiletry bags but shelves are available if you take the items out. It is a block away from lots of shops and restaurants downtown and a short drive to Ecola State Park (which is definitely worth seeing). We would definitely stay here again.

I stayed in an Executive Suite, large outside deck, fireplace, jetted tub, fully equipped kitchen, full view of the ocean, 10 second walk to the sand, and I couldn't have asked for more. The rooms are not super fancy, but clean, had everything I needed to enjoy the stay! And for those with Covid concerns, it was very safe! Loved it, can't wait to go back!
