This was our 5th trip to Metolius Resort. A small number of wonderful A-frame cabins tucked in the woods, on the banks of the gorgeous Metolius River. Cabins are extremely clean & comfortable; very well stocked. The kitchen is a dream, with every convenience imaginable (and then some!). This is the place for peace & quiet & relaxation -- Total...

We enjoyed the surrounding area and being right on the river. We hiked everyday, the cabins were cute and cozy ( check review on room.) The manager was helpful. Also enjoyed going into Sisters and golfing at Black Butte.

One bathroom shared between two bedrooms was not ideal. The second bedroom was a gallery above the living area so bring your sleep mask and ear plugs. Most disappointing though was...

Cabin was conveniently located. Quiet & cozy. We old definitely stay here again. Maybe pick a cabin closer to the river. Furnishings were comfortable. I would recommend installing a gas fire log instead of utilizing a diraflame log.

We had a wonderful stay at the Metolius River Reaort. Cabin 3 was comfortably furnished and had a fairly good view of the river. An added bonus was the Kokanee Restaurant, just a few steps away. One suggestion: there were three of us and it would have been nice to have had three Adirondack chairs on the deck looking out...

We made this reservation after the owner of a place we had reserved several months before abruptly cancelled our reservation, wanting to give it to someone who had stayed there before. That inconvenience turned out to be a gift. We've sometimes avoided staying at the Metolius River Resort, thinking it too expensive for our budget. As it turned out, part...

We loved staying at the Metolius River Resort and will stay there when we go back to the area again. The cabins are beautiful and furnished just right. It is central to the area so we could hop on a hiking trail or take our bikes.

“We stayed in cabin 12. I would recommend staying in the other cabins since 12 had only a partial view of the river. My daughter chose it because she liked the furnishings on the website the best and I didn't double check the exact location along the row of cabins. Still -- we were very happy in that cabin and it apparently is the only one with games for kids, so we lucked out with that. ”
