Nice views. Great hiking paths for all hikers. Lots to do, horse riding, tennis, swmming. A fairly round variety of things to do, something for everyone. Several dining options. For winter it's great for skiing, but I can't comment on that part, I don't ski....so you see, it's not just for winter.

My family and I stayed at Black Butte Ranch for 4 days and skied two of the four at Hoodoo ski area. Great time. Black Butte Ranch is 7 miles from the ski area. After a full day of skiing we came back to BBR and enjoyed the indoor pool and Spa. The house we rented for the 4 days...

Seven family members rented a house for the long weekend. We went bike riding, horseback riding, and walking the many trails. We were close enough to visit the sights in the area and to go to Sisters a great meal. The house was a little small for seven and the carpet should have been cleaner. Otherwise, I have no complaints.

LR041, hotel room in the lodge, was unacceptable. There were dozens of bugs on the wall, floor, sink, shower, toilet. The carpet was stained and very dirty. The mattress was worn out and soft. Management was slow to clean up the dead bugs. The paint on the walls and doors is chipped in places.

Traveled from Corvallis this past weekend. OR Hwy 20 a major route to the resort. It was closed, and had been closed for weeks! No warning from the resort! Instead of 2 hours and 15 minutes the re-routing took 4+ hours! Arrived after dark, restaurants closed, pools closed, etc. Called the resort from Sweet Home, OR to advise about the...

We rented a large home in BBR through VRBO. Six adults and 2 kids (4 & 2). We did just about everything. Tennis, golf at both Glaze Meadows and Big Meadows, paddle boarding, use of the trails for biking and running, workout facilities, and kiddie pool at the lodge. Had lunch at the Pub at Big Meadows golf course. All...

Lumpy mattress I put comforters under the fitted sheet to plump tired old mattress Formica bathroom outdated extremely low sink Fridge with no ice cube...

I decided to contribute this review because it was not what I expected and I wish I had better information so I could have planned to stay somewhere more our style. I also found the customer service lacking. We were given a key code, got all the way to our unit, and found that it required regular keys. I had...

If you have a high stress job, or just want to relax in peace and quiet, come to Black Butte Ranch (Resort). There are many things to do, if you wish, or you can do absolutely nothing at all but breathe in the wonderful pine-scented air. They have a couple of swimming pools, golf courses, horseback riding, tennis courts and...

First of all, we totally agree with earlier reviewer, Black Butte resort is located on the south side of Hwy. 20. It is a beautiful, family-oriented golf resort. When staying here, there are many amenities available. Such as: Walking and jogging trails, bike trails, horseback riding, 2 great golf courses, a pool, gorgeous views of meadows and mountains, and both...
