We stayed on Monday on our way up the coast and decided to stay the following weekend on our way home. Great huge rooms, wonderful staff, pet friendly, near the beach and harbor. Nice beaches and a wonderful harbor just down the street.

Stayed here for five days for work. The room was very clean, tons of fresh towels. I had a room that was cat-friendly, and they had a broom, extra clean small towels for messes, and a non-carpeted room to accommodate. The people at the desk were very friendly and helpful, This is a clean, safe, decent place to stay for...

Thank you for your review. We are happy that you mentioned "the room was very clean". We strive for cleanliness and in fact are known throughout town as "very clean". Our "pet friendly" rooms are all accommodated with hard wood floors, extra "rags" or "pet towels" and remain very clean because of that fact. We also were glad you mentioned...

The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was helpful as I was there for a job interview and gave me information about the town as well as a great place to get clam chowder and it was a very reasonable rate.

This little motel was just great for our 2 night stay. The staff was very nice and the large pet friendly room very clean with good quality towels and toiletries. The fridge, microwave and 4cup coffee maker all in good condition. The baseboard heater took a little longer to heat the room so if you call ahead they will be...

This is a budget friendly property. The rooms are older but spacious and it is conveniently located in town. It was clean and relatively quiet, but it is a spot where fisherman and workers stay, so it is a bit noisy early morning. We were traveling with our small dog and it worked fine with him. The biggest draw back...

Thank you for your review. Yes we do receive fisherman and some workers, particularly in the winter months as the hotel is what you said “budget friendly”. We attempt to take care of any unusually noisy guests as they are reported to us. We apologize we were unable to do this completely to your satisfaction. We are glad however, that...

We enjoyed our stay at this motor lodge. Very clean, spacious room, comfortable bed. The staff was very friendly, and the rates were reasonable. Also enjoyed staying in an establishment that still has real room keys rather than the key cards that frequently don't work!

Thank you for your review. We are extremely pleased that you mentioned “Very clean, spacious room, comfortable bed” in addition to “the staff was very friendly and the rates were reasonable”. These are our primary objectives and it appears as if we met your expectations. I too enjoy “real room keys”, as the hotel key cards typically are nothing but...

Seemed to be clean enough, but pretty uncomfortable beds. At around $60 per night, Wild Rivers might seem like an okay place, but it really has no business charging $80 or $90. particularly when it provides no breakfast. But, I have to say that no lodging in Brookings appears to really provide value for the price. Sorry, folks, but that...

Thank you for your review. We are sorry that you felt the bed was uncomfortable. We have recently replaced approximately 60% of the beds throughout the hotel, and the remaining 40% will be done within the next 9 months. Not knowing what room you had reserved and stayed in, we cannot verify if you had one that had been replaced...

This hotel deserves a 3.4 but not the 4 that Tripadvisor shows. The rooms are clean, updating is somewhat obvious but could stand a bit more. No carpet which is great cuz it's easier to keep clean. Staff was nice and sleep was comfortable.

Thank you for your review. We are glad that you found our rooms “clean”. We realize that “updating” is not only necessary, but ongoing, and we appreciate the fact that you did mention that what has been done was noticeable. Some of our rooms do indeed have hard wood laminate flooring and we are glad that you found that positive...

On a 6000 mile road trip with no advance room reservations, I relied on Trip advisor reviews to select this hotel. It was exactly what I expected. Thank you for your review. We are glad that you found our hotel “exactly what I expected”. We do have some rooms accommodated with A/C, but find it really isn’t necessary most of the year including summer months. We...
