Stayed here as part of a Hwy 101 road trip and was surprised at how nice the room was. Clean and comfy. Arrived late, slept great and was off again in the morning. I would stay here again. I believe that they upgraded our room at the last minute, but I am unsure why - maybe because we arrived so...

Sign out front says veterans welcome, don't believe it! They are remodeling rooms but it's so they can charge more than everyone else. When this was run by Laurie the bottom line was about people. Now the bottom line is $$$ only. They're going to realize just how bad they've screwed up come this winter when this place is empty....

I would not stay here again. I booked a room with 2 beds and a kitchenette and there was a tiny microwave and at first we did not think there was a coffee pot until the next day when we looked in the cupboard...why would it be there instead of on the counter?....not sure. We were told at check in...

Best for your budget on hwy 101 brookings. Laurie and her staff are great, happy, available, informative and helpful. The room is basic but does have kitchenette. Small fridge and micro. No breakfast, there is coffee all day long, oatmeal and hot water in the lobby. Free wifi. Guests are friendly and cool! Would def stay here again!

I don't normally like leaving bad reviews but this place was appalling. It reeked of old cigarettes and mold. There were stains all over the carpet and it was completely run down. The shower was small and there were no soaps/shampoos, just plastic dispensers on the walls. It was more of a monthly rate place for people to live than...

Was here last weekend with my family. Had a great time. The staff was really friendly. The room we checked in was great with newly renovated flooring and a really comfortable bed, would definitely come back .

I confess it was all about the least expensive place to just lay our heads after a music fest that went til 9 pm to getting up & heading home in the am. I booked through booking.com; This is my 2nd experience with a quick, don't-do-a-lot-of-research booking on one of the booking sites & I think I will not be...

Im very sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us, yes we do have a few family's staying for longer than a month as it is hard to find a place to rent in brookings , but by no means would i state that people here are sketchy, im sorry you felt that way

What a disaster! The whole experience started out bad at check-in. It was apparent the staff was incompetent. The reservation for the guest ahead of us was a disaster not enough rooms for their party. Our turn, the staff could not access our reservation, finally just rented us a room. No towels, carpet was filthy, mattress sagged in the middle...

I stayed here one night only. They are pet friendly and I wanted to take my dogs to the beach. When I arrived the office was empty, after 20 minutes or so the maintenance man passed by and called her to come to the office. The room had a kitchenette with fridge, microwave and hotplate but no pans, dishes and...

“Try getting on the second or third level. All rooms are on ground level but up the side of a mountain. We were on the second level and were not bothered by traffic on Hwy. 101. The third level is further from the road. However if you have pets you may not have too much of a choice.”
