If you are looking for a place to renew, revive and relax - this is it. I have very warm memories of my visits to the Chetco River Inn. Not only is the location (set on 40 acres, fronted by the Chetco River and surrounded by forested land) unbelievably beautiful - the Innkeepers, Sandra & Clay Brugger, made me feel...

We spent 2 nights at the end of August, 2009. The Inn is situated on the bank of the Chetco River, 16 miles from the seaside town of Brookings in southwest Oregon. Because the marine layer of cold air does not penetrate that far inland, the temperature at the Inn may be 85F while Brookings is at 65F. The Inn...

On our road trip from Vancouver to California we planned to stay a night, but did not want to leave! Driving in at night it felt like an adventure going deep into the woods, but as Sandra said, "You'll get here!" And sure enough we did. We were foolish to decline on the homemade ice cream the night we came...

Sandra & Clay are warm and welcoming innkeepers. The food & service was superb. The stars at night look like you can reach out and touch them. The inn itself, is charming just steps from the beautiful Chetco river. Perhaps, best of all, the inn is environmentally green.

The friendly Inn, the consistently excellent food, the VERY comfortable beds, and the lovely location make this one of our greatest travel finds ever. This is one of the few places that actually lives up to the promises of its website! It is relaxing and serene, a perfect place to sit and rock on the wide veranda, read a book...

Tucked away from the Oregon coast on the Chetco River is the place to relax and be pampered. The owners are very friendly and truly care if you enjoy your stay. The breakfast is beyond description and will fortify you for the day. There are snacks and drinks out all day. One evening Sandra made ice cream and another time...

This is one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. The property is beautiful, right on the Chetco River. There is a secluded beach, many lounge chairs set up riverfront, and the hosts bring you ice tea. If you are looking for a serene getaway I don't think you could find anything nicer. We stayed at the inn and also...

I have been to this Bed and Breakfast four times and it has become a haven for me and my two children. I am a single parent and it is often difficult to find a vacation spot where I feel safe and comfortable. Sandra and Clay treat me like family and my kids can't wait to get there each year....

During our family vacation to the Northwest we spent two nights at the Chetco River Inn at the Cottage. We had a wonderful time. Our children loved Mollie & Max (the owners' Scottish Terriers) and enjoyed exploring the property (rock beach by river, lavender garden, flowers, humming birds). Sandra and Clay were gracious hosts and the food was fantastic. The...

We stayed at the lovely bed and breakfast for 2 nights with our two children, aged 4 and 6. It was our first time taking the children to a B and B and we were a little nervous but we could not have been made to feel more welcome by the owners, in so many ways, from putting an extra...
