We stay here for a weekend with my 5 year old son with the main goal to try mountain biking. He LOVED the hammock in our room and the short trail around LOGE. We all loved the easy access to so many trails in the area, the hot tub and coming back to LOGE and enjoying some empanadas from the food cart. The family room we booked was perfect for the 3 of us! Room was very clean and tidy. Enjoyed sitting by the fire at night right outside our room, once the kiddo was in bed.

An update to my review last time. They are under new ownership and I’ve made vast differences and I can tell the quality of service is amazingly different. It is everything that I was hoping it could be and I was really happy to stay. We were able to use the hot tub and use mountain bikes. I recommend this place now and hope other people get a chance to come check it out.

I booked LOGE 2 nights October 29th and 30th to get away from the Eugene rain and mountain bike on dry trails. I love that LOGE caters to mountain biking. I like the IDEA of LOGE Bend and I had a good stay but ONLY because I can overlook things. This is my 2nd stay and plain and simple, the room was dirty both times. I cleaned the floor myself with a towel and the toilet with a wash cloth. Small rooms should be a cinch to clean. None of the amenities work. " sorry,I don't know why the bike cleaning station water doesn't work. You can use the hose over there." "Yeah, the fire pits aren't working right." The staff were friendly enough and the coffee is good but someone needs to care about clean rooms and fixing things. The reading light on my bed headboard was broken, one of the light bulbs over the couch was burned out. The floor was so dirty it was comical, especially under the couch. The dust on the utility box next to the sink was so dusty it looked like micro fiber. I got a partial refund last time. I'm not asking for one this time. My stay was good and I was out riding all day for 3 days. I hope they can bring things up to par. I'd hate to see it go away.

We were big fans of LOGE Camps and have visited the LOGE Bend location about 4-5 times over the last two years. However, this recent visit will sadly be our last due to cleanliness issues and overall poor room conditions. We were especially excited to finally book the king sauna room and although on our last visit (October 2020) we felt the room had some cleanliness issues, we decided it must have been a one-off and excitedly booked our return trip. We arrived late around 11:30PM after a 7+ hour drive. As we unpacked and got settled, we were immediately turned off by the dirty room and poor room conditions. The shower curtain was not hung properly and had pink algae/mold on the bottom, the toilet bowl was yellow and dirty, there was toothpaste splattered on the mirror, there were stains on the cushion on the dresser, the curtains were dirty and nearly black near the loop holes, the window was wide open and the TV was on (we actually thought we may have entered an occupied room by accident). A LOGE sticker was slapped on the remote to keep the batteries in place, the jacuzzi tub was cracked and old, and the mattress was stained. There were no signature MIIR coffee mugs, missing toilet paper (later found a roll on a dusty shelf), and the extension cords near the bed looked like a fire hazard. General wear & tear included chipped paint, scuffed walls and general dingy feel. What had happened to our funky, outdoorsy hotel? We loved how the LOGE team was bringing life back into abandoned motels. We are fans of the Westport, Leavenworth (both) and Breck locations. We especially loved the vibe at Bend, and overall convenience of bringing in bikes, skies and snowboards. But this recent trip showed us that without constant TLC and a well-trained cleaning staff, these motels can quickly turn back into what they were originally. The next morning, we packed it up and spoke with the guy at the cafe/front desk. He exemplified great customer service. Apologized genuinely, offered to move us to another room (we politely declined) and said he would refund us the entire stay with a promise that a manager would be in touch with us. It has been 5+ hours since we left with no reply yet from the manager, but we're hopeful they will do the right thing as I imagine we cannot be the only ones experiencing the fast decline of this hotel. We really hope the management team at LOGE works fast to reverse the issues here because we'd hate to see this gem continue to decline.

I have stayed at Loge twice this month. The atmosphere, encouraging interaction with others and a relaxed setting, appealed to me. The design of the rooms is unique and tasteful - in an outdoorsy sort of way. The cost is much more reasonable than other places in Bend. It is located just at the edge of Bend. You can take one of the bikes and explore the trails by the lodge. There is some food at the lodge; Tetherow Golf Resort with 2 restaurants is about 1/2 mile away. You can rent a folding kayak or SUP at the front desk.

It took three different key pad numbers from reception desk in restaurant as the original that was emailed and texted to us didn't work. Two young employees came over and got it opened but the safety lock was latched so couldn't get in. I guess they weren't "stoked" to see us as their email and text/ email said. This is a place for 20 something skiers and Mtn bikers who probably don't mind bath towels with holes and stained pillow cases in and a slow draining single sink. The hammock was a nice rest one afternoon after a hike on the trails next to the parking lot. If you stay here in the winter to ski up the road there is a portable plug in heater. We appreciated the great hot shower.

The rooms are basic but one thing I noticed right away is that the hotel has done away with all the "amenities" I never use in a hotel room (no dresser, no phone, no alarm clock, no random chairs) and replaced them with actual useful things (bottle opener, camp blanket, multiple ports to charge electronics). Then there was the hammock, which provide a good 20 minutes of entertainment as we tried to get in it while not falling off the bed. The walls are thin, though, and our neighbors were not quiet. Cell service in the room was practically nonexistent. Our phones would ring inside but we had to go outside to get a signal strong enough to be heard by the people on the other end of the call. And, the reception for the tv was so poor we just gave us trying to watch it.

Great property for family, friends, biz retreat or romantic trip. It feels like you're far from it all in the woods with adventurous biking trails, but also minutes from downtown or Mt. Bachelor. Fantastic big hot tub and pool, both extremely clean. They just need to centralize the pool towels or have checkout system, either way post a sign of how to obtain one. I understand if they have to keep them locked up, as they all went MIA, so we never got one. We loved the hammocks in the room, so nice to relax after a long drive or day of activities. They have gas firepits in a few areas to chill in the evenings, meet new people & roast marshmallows. Also, BBQ's in seating areas, to grill up your own food, was nice option. The contactless check-in system is great, loved not having to carry a keycard around & just using code. They advertised free street bikes w/locks during your stay, which was great for riding into town, but they are not allowed on the trails, so bring your own or you can rent really nice suspension from Loge. They provide bike washing & tune-up station, plus secure hooks in your room to hang them up. They truly thought of it all. The Cafe is a cool, modern space for having a drink, food, play games and had ample space to spread out, plug in laptop to get some work done with a delicious cup of coffee. I do hope they start offering complimentary coffee in the mornings, one day they did, the next day they didn't. It would help if they put a clear sign up so guests are not just searching or standing around waiting for counter help. They have delicious bacon or sausage breakfast sandwiches, overpriced at $8/ea, but great quality, fresh, large, filling & saved us a trip into town. There is no food menu, other options looked like muffin or cookie, and nothing after breakfast hours. I don't drink beer, but it was on tap & available for sale all day, as well as cold non-alcoholic beverages. The check-in email indicated a happy hour, but didn't see anything at Cafe about it, but heard it was a $1 off beer. We had a few issues with our room and customer service, but the corporate office was there & assured me they are remodeling & working on all of it, so not going to complain here. I want to thank the management for taking our feedback seriously & resolving the issues above and beyond. I know they have a vision of excellence that will make this Loge an even better experience next time! Thank you for everything!

Arrived at Loge Bend expecting a casual refurbished motel with lots of outdoor space. Our room was on the busy highway (yuck) and we immediately noticed a foul odor outside our door. Room was ok- all Ikea furniture, tiny bathroom, lumpy foam mattress but whatever. We called front desk about the odor but no one EVER picked up over our 2 night stay. We went to office and were told we’d hear from management about the disgusting odor. Nope. There are no actual employees at this motel as far as we could tell. Next day we went back and asked to talk to a manager, but the sole employee on campus seemed completely overwhelmed and would not even tell us the name of a manager. She seemed to be running the motel, cafe, gift shop and all maintenance BY HERSELF. At this point a bearded hipster came to lobby and told us that we should “go back where we came from” and that we had no right to complain about sewage outside our room. Apparently he was the king of Bend. 10 hours before check out we received a text from the same number that gave us our check in instructions, and it said we would be comped for our stay. But still no contact with an actual named human. Offered us a new room at 10pm before our checkout the next morning. And guess what? They charged our credit card for our stay after we left. This seems to be one of the worst managed motel companies ever!!!!

When you book a stay in a boutique lodge, but discover it’s just a ratty motel with a creative designer, an REI catalogue and a link to Pinterest. The rooms are thinly veiled dumps— fake wood flooring, old chrome fixtures with a fresh coat of blavk paint—sorta, plywood tacked to walls, hang a hammock, and add some retail items. IKEA foam bed on platform. Mediocre linens, coarse towels, LOUD (inefficient) air conditioner, and a stocked honor fridge—PBR?! This was overpriced, kitschy, and lacking basic comfort. There should be chairs to sit outside the door, the walls are paper thin. The bathroom is a gloried closet—small, outdated.
