I left my ring and earrings in the bathroom when I checked out and the housekeeper said nothing was left in the room. I stayed two nights . I had to hunt a housekeeper down at 5pm to clean my room on the second day....More

Personally I would book by telephone to the front desk staff and get a person-to-person understanding of what to expect on arrival. Get a name, and then on arrival confirm the details promised in the reservation phone call. And don't pass on that breakfast -- the buffet is the best I've ever had at a restaurant. It's a proper restaurant meal.
