For true golf fanatics this is one of the best possible destinations anywhere. All 4 golf courses are stunning, fun, challenging, and yet unique. Out of all 72 holes there was not a single one I didn't like, or found wanting. Multiple tees for all levels of golfers. The caddies are generally excellent (although I did fire my first one,... Golf at Bandon is of course amazing. The courses are stunningly beautiful, in great shape, and you will never forget them. They are surprisingly playable, especially with early tee times, before the wind gets insane. If you are not used to walking, it can be a challenge to do 36 a day. I know that seems to be the goal... We went with 3 other couples. We all like to play golf and it is a good thing. This is a real golf resort. We were one of the few golfing couples groups. There were many "guy trips" sometimes dominating the restaurants. The golf courses are amazing. We stayed in the Chrome Lake lofts and found the rooms to be... More

Since 2000, once every other year, me and 9-11 good friends (now all around age 50) trek to Bandon Dunes Golf Resort. [If you are not a golfer no need to read further]. Bandon Dunes is Mecca for golfers. They do everything right. The 5 courses are phenomenal, you might find a place with a better single course, but you... More

Spectacular golf experience. Although other amenities are available the reason to be there is golf. Stayed in the Grove. Outstanding facility. Clean, private and accessible to all courses. Restaurants onsite were priced reasonably for a resort. Loved Old McDonald and Pacific Dunes. Bandon Trails was a surprise hit. Course prices are steep but offer a half price option for the... More

Where to begin?? We'll break it down category by category. This was a trip for myself and three buddies as we all turned 40 this year and decided this was the best way to celebrate that as we are all avid golfers. Getting There We were coming from Saskatchewan Canada, so needless to say the travel was a little tricky.... More

For 20 years I would travel to Southwest Ireland each May for a week of golf playing such courses as Ballybunion, Tralee, Doonbeg and Lahinch and felt that there was no place on earth with links course that could compare to these fabulous courses. The problem was that it took a day to fly to Ireland, a day to return... More

Went with a group of 16 guys. Stayed in the Chrome Lofts. Lodging was super. Very comfortable, functional and clean. Golf courses are fabulous. Played all four plus the 3-par Preserve course. Caddies are great and offered excellent tips/suggestions. Food at all the restaurants was great. Food prices were reasonable and a fairly good wine list/beer selection. Just note, Bandon... More

Today we just went to show my wife my favorite place to play golf. We were visiting the Oregon coast and took the 3 hour drive to get there and it was well worth the drive. I had the chance to show her the courses and then we had lunch in the Tufted Puffin restaurant. Ordered nothing exotic, a turkey... More
