The Bandon, Oregon Lighthouse Bed and Breakfast is located on the bay, not by it or near it, but on it. The ocean was angry the two nights we stayed, so the waves crashed on the rocks and beach thru out the nights. Breakfast was delicious with fruit, yogurt, breads, sweet rolls, bacon or sausage, juices, milk, coffee and quiche... More

Good Morning Kim and Peggy, Ted and I just got back last evening from Eugene, as Monday, I had a "pace-maker installed", and got on the computer this morning to check-e-mails.....Nothing could of made me feel more "perky", than your kind review!! Yes, I hope to sell, but, as of Tuesday, Charlene is showing great interest in the place, with... More

First the positives - Ted who welcomed us and had breakfast with the guests is very friendly and helpful. He checked us in right away and got Shirley's daughter to fix a problem with the tv. He also told us about local places for dinner and that there was wine in the fridge and we could help ourselves. The breakfast... More

My wife and I spent a long weekend in Bandon and wanted something other than the usual hotel. I found the Lighthouse B&B and it was wonderful. We were in the Grey Whale room which has views across the river as well as up to the ocean out the corner windows. The room was great with a King size bed,... More

We stayed at the Lighthouse bed and breakfast recently and were pleasantly surprised. The home is in a secluded area and all you hear at night is the sound of the waves, very peaceful. We arrived late and left early so did not get a chance to sit outside and enjoy the lovely porch overlooking the water. Shirley is a... More

Good location, views of lighthouse across water and of rocky beach nearby. Very quiet. Unfortunately the place needs serious updating. Our room was small, with room for a night table on just one side of the bed. The only window was above the bed and opened towards the road (which was quiet at night). Because there were few windows with... More

The approach is not good as the place looks rundown. However, the inside is very nice. We had the “Deck Room” which had a deck, but we thought it would look towards the lighthouse, but it does not. The room also lacks drawer and hanging space for more than a very short stay. While we were there in August it... More

We had a lovely one night stay. Shirley was a wonderful host, with lots of local information. We had a lovely relaxing start, drinking wine and eating snacks before heading into town for dinner. Our room, the Blue whale room, was wonderful, with sneak peaks of the light house! (that darn fog!!) Breakfast was made from scratch, potato quiche, bacon,... More

Great location and fantastic owner, the place had been sold but there was an issue and the old owner came back. The property is the most unique setting in town but is in need of a refreshing. Breakfast was great and we would not hesitate to stay here again..

Friends of ours found this place and set up the reservation. Very convenient location if you want to be close to downtown Banding and the coast. 5 minute drive to Face Rock beach access - perfect spot for a walk especially at low tide. Terrific breakfast and rooms were comfortable and plenty roomy. Most are en suite. Picturesque great room... More

We had a rocky start since we couldnt Check in at first. Having solved this and after a chat and a couple of glasses of wine with Shirley we had a wonderful time. Very nice room, very quiet and a fantastic breakfast. This is how a B&B should be.
