This lodge was remodeled a few years ago and the rooms are now quite nice. The bed is super comfortable and I really like all the closet space. The shower in the bathroom is a little small, but everything is very clean and comfortable. I do wish that the staff would trim back the brush outside the windows of the...

For a state lodge built in 1958, the Roman Nose Lodge is great. I had been to the lodge a few times in the past but I had not been there since the remodel. Boasting about 25 rooms, it is a small lodge. And seeing that it was built in an era when hotel rooms were small, it was surely...

It was 10:20 am. and the sign in the lobby told us we were well into the hours of operations so despite the room being dark (lights off) we went on in. As soon as we were noticed a young waitress came over to cheerfully greet us and someone turned on the lights. I'm guess the lights being off were...

We showed up on a night where it appeared there was a women's retreat taking over the lodge restaurant. We asked if we could sit on the outside patio. We were told by the person at the cash register counter "No!!!! servers are running around like chicken's with their heads cut off and we can not seat people on the...

We arrived late in the evening and received a very warm welcome. The rooms are clean and modern although the bathroom was pretty small. We had a great view of the lake. Walk the hallway and see the historic photos of the state park and surrounding area. Played cards late at night in the lobby - lots of seating for...

We stayed in the cabin and were very comfortable. Working fireplace was nice and upgrades were good. Lodge restaurant was okay, but not great. Hiking was enjoyable. Staff wasn't the most welcoming, but answered our questions.

Just spent the night here for a faculty retreat. What a pleasant surprise! I ended up in a wheelchair-accessible room. It had a huge, comfortable room with a mini-fridge, iphone-compatible radio/alarm clock, and enough cabinet space for a month of clothes. There was a desk, a chair and ottoman, two nightstands, plenty of lamps, a ceiling fan, and an iron...

The beds were very comfortable. Mt husband is over 6', so a queen was a slight adjustment for us, but the mattress was cozy. The room is well laid out with nice views and a fridge. This would be 5 star, but they need to push up their wi-fi to be consistent, or just take it out. They also need...

This is one of the original seven state parks in Oklahoma. Since remodeling a few years back, the rooms are comfortable and spacious. The bathrooms are small and don't have any counter top space for shaving or putting on make-up. Good for a large family reunion was good, but not great. Suggestion would be to add some restaurant staff when...

We had a great room which was nice any clean. It also had a view of the lake, with a bed that was oh so comfy. We ate in the Lodge dinning room and the food was very good. The staff was very friendly and made you feel very welcome.

“The lake view rooms do have something of a view, while the park view rooms are against the cliff though still comfortable.”

“There are only 22 rooms with 2 of those being suites. Cabins and Teepees are also available in the park. There is an outdoor poor with a nice concrete deck and wrought-iron fence and playground on the grounds. It was covered over for the season. There were a lot of cars in the parking lot and there was no noise from the hallway or outside.”
