Red River Ranch Retreat is a B&B located on a ranch off of I-40. You'll have to take a dirt road to get there. When we first arrived we were kind of skeptical, but after we met the hosts we became relaxed- they were very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in the Grace Cabin, which was worn, but definitely kept...

Our hosts Elizabeth and Ridge were so welcoming and accomodating. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the TV in the private living area upstairs...private bath and kindg size bed.I found the restful quiet and autumn scenery so pleasant. We plan to return with grandchildren and enjoy horseback riding in the near future. The large pool and hot tub looked so inviting, too....

This is my second trip at the ranch, and we stayed at the beautiful Peace cabin. There is a college dorm size refrigerator and a microwave, so you can bring snacks. We had a lovely time among Godly people.

If you are looking for a quiet place to de-stress, this is the place! Elizabeth and Ridge are wonderful hosts and make you feel right at home. The food was excellent and the conversation at the table was enjoyable. We stayed in the "Peace" cabin and it certainly lived up to its name. But it wasn't just the cabin---the entire...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Red River Ranch Retreat can accommodate approximately 70 people at a time. It is wonderful for family reunions, women's retreats, men's retreats, youth retreats, etc. It is very children friendly with barnyard open to children to collect eggs; feed ducks, pigs, goats, calves, horses. There are horses suitable for the novice and the expert. There are many trails and interesting hikes. Wildlife includes turkeys, deer, beaver, raccoons, and more. There is a swimming pool open from May to October. Besides horse back riding and hiking there is paintball and canoeing. The surroundings are quiet and serene, seeming to be a million miles from civilization, while being only 3 1/2 miles from the interstate (I 40). It is close to the picturesque town of Sayre -- still a cowboy town -- which boasts the county courthouse, several restaurants, a grocery store and our college SWOSU and the VoTec. We are located halfway between Amarillo, TX and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, near I 40. Pictures cannot do the ranch justice! ... more   less

“"Grace" and "Peace" are connected cabins and are away from the ranch house; if you want privacy, one of these would be a good choice. There are three bedrooms at the Ranch House that are very comfortable.”
