The best Super 8 I've ever stayed at. Friendly staff. I love this hotel. I recommend it to all my friends when they're planning an extended stay or even just an overnight stay in OKC/Edmond. I won't stay any other place when in OKC!

My best friend booked this hotel. I had no input in the decision. We got there Friday night, checked into the room, I immediately start checking the beds (i.e. for bed bugs and cleanliness, I do this everywhere I stay.) We had two double beds....More
I booked this hotel because it was economical and so close to Frontier City I could walk. I knew it was not the ritz and wasn't expecting such. Despite the seemingly sketchy location, My friends and I (along with my 10 year old son) felt...More
The room was as expected. You get what you pay for. The night manager was a young guy and very nice and polite. I got in late and was planning on heading out around 10 AM. I got out of the shower at 10 AM...More

I stayed at the Super 8 directly North of Frontier City off I-35 in Edmond, Oklahoma for the first and only time on March 21-24, 2015. I had a comfortable stay in Room 734 ground floor and never witnessed any problem with insects. Granted it has not fully warmed up to Spring such that the bugs, ants etc will be active. I understand your point about mixed reviews. I had the same confusion but gave it a try and was pleased. I will say that I did NOT have a chance to try breakfast as I went to my sisters house nearby each day. Breakfast at these rates/locations tends to be very basic. I will say it again, I paid about $60 per night with taxes and was pleased. If one desires more (larger room, more amenities, newer, etc) then step up to a Best Western, Holiday Inn/Express or even a Marriott, Hyatt, Wyndham or Hilton property but expect to pay considerably more. BTW, I sm a 59 year old male. Hope this helps.
