My mother and I arrived at the Olive Tree around 6 pm on a Friday evening. We were expected at a family dinner, and we were in a bit of a rush to check in. Upon arrival, we found the office deserted. In place of a traditional check-in, the manager taped labeled envelopes containing room keys to the outside-facing front...

Booked 2 rooms for a motorcycle trip rates were good , location was great you could walk to eat or get a beer. Mini fridge in the room. Only complaint would be the gravel parking lot. And don't take the room next to the left of the ice machine . It shares an open vent and you will hear everyone...

I spent one weekend in the Olive tree Inn - it is very quiet, clean comfortable, and it's like your home away from your home. There is a room for continental breakfast. I called for my reservation and the phone was promptly answer, to place my reservation. It is really really a nice place to be away from your everyday...

One, Colonel Moore is no longer there, otherwise, I would not have had this experience. Reservation made in advance, for a Sunday, I was the only guest that day. Walk into "the office" to check in, it was in total disarray. Looked like the place had been tossed by a burglar. Two girls in "the office" (which is basically an...

When we arrived at the Olive Tree, there was no one in the office and it was locked. I called the phone number on the door but there was no answer. A nice woman who was staying there with two young children and a dog told us that the office manager had just left and would be right back. We...

My family lives in Woodsfield, OH, and every time we come to visit from Maryland, we stay at the Olive Tree Inn. Kathy is wonderful, and the rooms are always VERY clean. They have a small area for continental breakfast and the accommodations are just perfect for our family of 4! I would highly recommend this place if you are...

Off the beaten path near the Wayne National Forest. The room was clean and inviting. The over-stuffed chair next to one of the bed, just called you to sit and relax.

My husband and I drove in the parking lot of the Olive Tree Inn at 3 am. We were thankful for a place to stay but had no idea the treat we were in for. It was so clean and quiet . Innkeeper Bill Moore and Housekeeper Kathie run a top rate establishment. Also, very helpful and friendly to newcomers....

Only stayed one night but this is a throwback to the 60's. From park at the door to the tiled shower and bath this place was a treat. Super clean, quiet and comfortable it doesn't get any better than this. Colonel Moore the General Manager was a hoot. You owe it to yourself to stay at this last little piece...
