The hotel was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The ladies at the desk were very nice and welcoming. It was very quiet. I highly recommend. It is within five minutes of St. Ann's Mt. Carmel Hospital.
I had called ahead to inquire if the king size room had a microwave, and was told that it did. Upon getting to my room, I discovered that my room had a fridge but no microwave. I called the front desk, and they explained that the 'king suites' had microwaves, but the other rooms do not. They changed my room to one of the suites, even bringing the keys up to the floor I was one. I appreciated that their quick response. My room was very clean and comfortable.
I realize that COVID world is a challenge for everybody, including the hotel business. Giving latitude for this reality, our room was a bit less than what we expected. Lamp shades were abused & bruised, other little thigs in the room not up to par like opened sealed plastics on coffee napkins and stirring sticks (these tiny details are always important), and beds not as comfortable as I had hoped - seemed like they were at the end of their life cycle. Everything else mostly good. Staff were always friendly and helpful!
During the time of the pandemic, the hotel seemed very clean, the eating area had every other table blocked off and an attendant serving breakfast. We stayed in a King Studio room which was super cute and I LOVED working at the little desk in-room.
I had to submit a review, as I saw the poor reviews just before our stay this past weekend. I found my room to be very clean and comfortable. The staff was courteous and accommodating. My only dissatisfaction was that, due to COVID, breakfast was limited, as they could not allow guests to serve themselves. Not their fault, as they were doing their best with a trying situation. There was still one hot entree available. The hours of breakfast was limited to 7:00 to 9:00 AM on the weekend.
