This is my go to spot when in the Delaware/Sunbury area. Recent updates are very nice. Room was clean and nicely decorated. Our room had a rear/woods view and the only discrepancy I saw was worker debris strewn in the back area that needs taken care of. Other than that, it was a good stay with no problems. Clean and quiet.
Haven't stayed here before but wanted to try out the whirlpool room for a night away with my husband. We travel pretty often and stay at hotel at least twice a month so we aren't new to hotels. We arrived at the hotel and i successfully checked in online and was using digital key. Got to the room and the door was ajar which was odd. Also noticed that there was not a hot tub in the room so I started to call the front desk to make sure that we were in the correct room and there was no phone in the room anywhere. My husband went down to the desk and returned shortly after. Apparently the hotel had renovated and removed the whirlpools but nothing was updated on the app or website. Even when I specifically booked this room I was not contacted prior and told that this room was not available. My husband sat three packs of candy on the counter and said "this is for the inconvenience". Already 7p at this point, decided to just deal with the matter the following day but things just got more interesting as the night went on. Took a shower and there was no hair dryer in the room. No alarm clock or regular clock. Brought drinks and stuck in the fridge then realized fridge was broke. Went to get ice on the first floor and the machine was moldy and disgusting. Toilet kept continuously running. Thought I had fixed until in the middle of the night it overflowed all the way into the hall. Had to call up maintenance to fix it. Just ridiculous. By far in my top 3 worst stays somewhere ever. I am not a complainer and neither is my husband but this was RIDICULOUS. Was even told by a staff member that the lady under us left because she had similar issues with her room AND these rooms hadn't even been officially inspected yet to be reserved and had NO BUSINESS being sold. I have emailed corporate and still no response. This really saddens me because generally I love Hilton properties but if this is how a situation like this is handled then I will stick with IHG or Marriott properties.…
Very clean as would be expected from a Hampton Inn. WIFI was excellent and was never down. Breakfast was hot and they had a variety of foods and area was well maintained and clean. Close to many fast food as well as sit down restaurants. Very friendly staff
Visiting with family in town nearby and spent one night . arrived early evening and had a very relaxing comfortable room. A delicious breadfast ... most anythig you would want for breakfast no matter your diet. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Staying at this hotel was a pleasure. We were only minutes away fromour daughter's home. The staff was extremely nice and the breakfast was Wonderful. We will definitely stay at this particular Hampton Inn in the future.
