My husband surprised me with a couple night stay at Glenlaurel for our honeymoon. We had a splendid time. The accommodations, scenery, food, staff, and the list goes on were so awesome. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Having 3 children can be a handful, so we decided it was time to have some "us" time. We arrived with a late check-in, and went immediately to our first 6 course dinner. I had the Salmon and my wife had the stuffed chicken breast; both were delicious. We stayed in the MacBeth Croft the entire time, and the view...

Went down for just one night for a girls' trip and it was fantastic. Every staff member we encountered was above and beyond friendly and helpful. Our room was cozy and lovely - we stayed in the Campbell Room in the main house. I loved the gigantic bathtub which looked out into the woods, our private deck and the hammock...

My wife and I enjoyed dinner at Glenlaurel. We have stayed at the Inn before, but this time we were staying elsewhere and visited just for dinner. We noticed the Inn added a bocce court and a Tesla charging station. If you visit for dinner, be sure to arrive before 6:00 and enjoy cocktails in the lounge. It is a...

We just spent another great weekend at Glenlaurel. This was our second visit and we left talking about when we would be coming back. We do not consider ourselves the typical "Bed & Breakfast" types -- we aren't chatty and not outgoing at all. However, there is something magical about Glenlaurel and we are so very comfortable there. Tracy, the...

This was our first trip, and we stayed in the MacGregor room at the Inn. We have been looking at this place for over a year, and finally paid a visit. There are not enough kind words that I can share about the experience. The food, both breakfast and dinner, are awesome. The 6/7 course dinners are expertly prepared and...

There were no surprises on our third visit. It just gets better. We always enjoy our lovely room which has a deck and looks over the forest. Our room is always so inviting and comfortable. Thank you for taking the time to give us a review. We appreciate your repeat visits. The Campbell Room is such a delightful space and has great light, and the stained glass windows are special. Absolutely a necessity for us to get away alone and rediscover what was truly essential in life. Glenlaurel Inn gave us the perfect setting to do this. Tumbled across the website shearly by accident and was cautious that this place could deliver all it promised. But it definitely did so and amply more. The staff were delightful, we were treated...

If a B&B/Inn bills itself as "Scottish," then it ought to serve really great oatmeal porridge for breakfast! Fortunately, at Glenlaurel, this is true! Also, quite delicious scones, a decent cup of tea, and very fine breakfast fare, such as the Eggs Benedict we had one morning during our stay: perfectly poached eggs, a very delicate Hollandaise and mild Canadian...
