Booked a hotel room for the minister officiating my wedding and made it abundantly clear that I was paying for this room. Gave them my credit card info over the phone. They confirmed that everything was good to go and my card would be charged. Only to find out when the minister got there and asked about it that “there is nothing on the notes about that” and the minister had to pay for it. This is infuriating and absolutely not ok.
We stayed for two nights June 26 & 27th and my goodness were we treated great, I finally feel like someone wanted me to stay at there Hotel. From check in to Check out they never said no. We had a loud group of people and kids roaming the hallways and courtyard. But not once did someone say we were out of control. This is a very clean Hotel small [pool but we had about 8 boys in the pool at once... When checking in my room seemed warm and Air seemed to not be running well and they without hesitation change me to another room. Everyone in our group had a great time and will book again if we are in the area, Also Thanks to Carrie for the great rates.
My wife, three kids and I recently went to New Albany, Ohio for a dance competition my oldest daughter entered. We stayed at the Courtyard Marriott. We had a one bedroom two room suite. The room was spacious and clean. The sofa bed was a little on the small side but the room easily fit two roll away beds. The main issue I had was there was no door on the bedroom portion to separate it from the other room.
Great hotel and does what it says on the tin. Stayed for two weeks with work around the corner, this hotel offers a free shuttle service to and from our offices so worked a treat. Breakfast and dinner was great (in particular the garlic/honey chicken wings and sea salt dark chocolate chip cookies which they alwa warm up) - with the drinks suitably strong- try their old fashioned. Room was nice and clean with the shower hot and powerful. What’s not to like.
AVOID FRONT DESK ATTENDANT JENNIFER!!!! I have never been treated so disrespectfully at a hotel before. I flew in from out of town to celebrate my college friends wedding. Situation #1: I called house keeping to receive more towels and front desk clerk, Jennifer, answered and told me I could come get the towels myself because she “did not know” when they could arrive due to their packed schedule. Situation #2 I am gone on Friday from 11am-2:30pm and assumed that my roomed would’ve been clean. When it was not clean (and all of my friends rooms were clean on the same floor) I went to the front desk. Of course Jennifer was working. She spoke to me in a very inappropriate tone when I simply just wanted to know if my room could get cleaned. When I told her that I didn’t appreciate her attitude she continued to raise her voice, put both hands up in the air, and yells “well I don’t appreciate you attitude either”. I thought this was extremely inappropriate since I am the customer. Long story short if Jennifer tries to help you ask for someone else. Or better yet don’t even stay at this hotel due to their incompetent staff and beyond disrespectful customer service.…
