We've been to the Amish country area several times, and usually try to stay at B&B's, but this was a quick trip, so we decided to just book at a hotel for a night. I knew the location of this hotel and knew it was near we needed to be. I booked directly on the website and got a GREAT rate. It was rainy when we checked in, so we didnt do much...just headed straight to the room and hung out for the evening. Check in was easy and the desk clerk was pleasant and very helpful! When we got to the room and noticed there was no hair dryer, we called and she told us that due to COVID, they had pulled them from the rooms, but she'd be able to give us one to use. The bed was comfortable and the room was exceptionally clean since everything was brand new. Because of COVID, the breakfast area was modified, but it was nice that they do SOMETHING (some hotels have just totally given up trying to provide anything). In the morning, they will prepare 'breakfast sacks' for the guests to eat there or to go, with warm cinnamon rolls, bananas, nutrigrain bars, juice, or milk (you just tell them what you want). I would definitely stay there again with no problem. FYI...there is an indoor pool (we did not go to it though), but no hot tub unfortunately. …
My wife and I stayed here while visiting Amish country. Everything about the hotel was just great. They still had a free hot breakfast and the place is spotless. They have a very well lit parking lot with plenty of spots. Rooms were nice and they even have a nice patio out back that is nice in the evenings.
Stayed here last weekend, 2 nights, and it was great. Full breakfast, excellent bedding, curtious staff. We asked for a back room off the highway and we're obliged. Please note main road in front of property. Subway across the parking lot, 2 thrift stores. Curious what happened to the free cookies and bottled water? Doesn't matter, but was a curtious gesture
We stayed at this hotel during a short weekend trip to visit local shops. The front desk attendant was courteous and offered suggestions for local attractions. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and the rates were affordable. I would have no problem staying there again in the future.
My husband and I needed a getaway, our go to place is Amish Country for the changing of the colors in October. All the hotels in Berlin, our usual place to stay were booked up. I decided to try Millersburg, and I am glad I did. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites. Kim helped book our reservation, Tannie checked us in and answered and recommended and gave excellent driving instructions to some different sites to see and the rest of the staff were wonderful. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Housekeeping staff kept our room clean, fresh and inviting to come back to after our days of enjoying the driving and scenery there was to offer. The breakfasts offered by hotel each day was delicious, This time we decided to try Mrs. Yoder's Kitchen for our dinner the one day and the variety and taste of the food was well worth the wait. The countryside scenery was breathtaking, the friendliness of the people and just the whole experience is what we love and grown to expect when traveling to Southern Ohio. We did find out that down there was their 'BOO in the BURBS" and that is why it was so buzzing. We will definitely be going back to that hotel and even requesting the same room, #103. Thank You Holiday Express of Millersburg for your Hotel and OUTSTANDING STAFF!!!!!…
