It is a great place to relax, furnished like a luxurious five-star hotel, but with a unique family atmosphere and individual approach. Very nice staff, as well as the owner, who try to fulfill any of your requirements for your stay. In addition, the hotel is close to beautiful nature and offers many activities in the area.
We had book all hotel for our family celebration. The Hotel and people there was amazing. Everything was excellent and with a extremely high standard. Specially wine Syrah from s.Africa was magnificent. Thank you again for everything. Everything is totally perfect and oriented to each detail. Hotel was more clean than very popular and luxury 5* hotels where we stayed before.
This mesmerizing villa located in a secluded place in eastern moravia represents a true paradise comparable to world's most spectacular hotels. The accomodation in the thematic rooms, cosy interior, subtle yet relaxing exterior was only the beggining. The charm of this boutique hotel lies in it's ability to ensure you really en joy your vacation feeling you are with friends, and not in the hotel. Food was delicious, massages relaxing. Although we spent only 2 nights, we returned home regenerated as if it were a week long holidays. I can only recommend it.
A trip to this hotel was the best choice that we could have done, amazing owner, staff, atmosphere, food, drink, everything. Everything was perfectly set up before arriving. The owner which welcomed us was very polite and showed us everything around. I can recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to experience something new and phenomenal. I personally felt like in a different world. From the things that the owner told us, this place has a special story behind it.
The location and atmosphere in the villa was amazing! I enjoyed my stay very much during a family celebration especially because of the delicious food, great Prosecco, and the beautiful nature that the villa is surrounded in. It is perfect for family stays and celebrations, but also for team buildings, and other type of events.
We stayed in the Villa over the weekend. The whole stay was great, we received excellent service from the owners. All food was fantastic, everyone enjoyed the barbecue in the evening. We were offered good wine from Africa and a lot of Prosseco. The whole atmosphere was very relaxing. We would like to come back in the nearest future.
I had a birthday party with my family at Villa Memories and I must say it was a wonderful experience. Everything was perfectly prepared, including the decoration. Guests could immediately stay or take care of their children for whom everything was prepared as well. Upon arrival, all guests received a welcome drink as a delicious prosecco. To celebrate, we ordered draft beer, prosecco and an African wine tasting. During the day, a barbecue was prepared for us, where several types of meat, fish and vegetables were available. Everything was thought out to the last detail, including decoration, music, breakfast, etc. I definitely recommend and hope that I will repeat this experience soon as possible.
Even though I only stayed one night in this beautiful place, it was a great experience. If you need to relax, enjoy some SPA, great food and wine, this is a place to go. All services at this place are suited to your needs and wishes, be it sauna temperature, food selection, massage treatment, oil you want to be used on you, activities you wish to enjoy throughout your stay or anything else. There is also a great outside place where you can organize a barbecue or aperitivo night with your friends or loved ones - surrounded by nature and calmness of this great place. I hope to come to Villa Memories once again and definitely for longer than just a night :)
Positives: quiet location; well-designed modern property, high quality furniture, soft furnishings, welcoming owners Negatives: highly over priced and poor value for money. Beverley Hills prices for what is in reality a B'n'B albeit a good one. Any suggestion that this is a spa as the term would be understood in the UK or the US is nonsense. Room cost: Upon arrival we were told that there had been a cancellation which meant that the best suite available could be ours. We did look at it and were told the cost would be 79,960 Kr a night (£600) it looked nice and, at that point, we thought we were at a spa. We agreed to take it- it had been a long, difficult year with problematic and stressful family issues without any time off and we had really been looking forward to some pampering and treatments as part of our two week break in Czechia. Website stated: "THE WHOLE YEAR Regeneration and detoxification of body and soul Do you suffer from dull and gray skin, exhaustion, indigestion and irritability? Then your body most likely longs for a detoxification treatment. In addition to genetic equipment, lifestyle and the current internal mood are largely reflected in lifestyle. That's why we at Ville Memories have prepared detoxification and regeneration programs" Actual: This statement is what sold us on going to Villa Memories; we have been on numerous spa breaks and expected something more than being told that there were three or four therapists in the locale and that on 48 hours notice we could book a massage. We we were not made aware of any other treatments being on offer. Absolutely no sign whatsoever of any regeneration program or anything like it . We did book a massage each - we both thought the therapist was excellent and, actually, realistically priced. The single, small, treatment room was well appointed - but that was the sum total of what was on offer for a spa and with an overall room price equal to £600 a night one expected a lot, lot more to be available. Food "Website stated:...you can treat your taste buds to an unforgettable experience. In the morning we will offer you a rich breakfast buffet" Actual: On each of our four days we were provided with a platter of hams and cheeses, bread, a pot of yogurt and coffee. It was all very good but did not equate as being the 'rich breakfast buffet' one might expect at a 5 star Spa Website stated: "during the day full catering of your choice" Actual: on our day of arrival we had a very nice platter of hams and cheees and grapes, pretty much identical to what was provided at breakfast. We didn't ask for anything else on any other days so maybe ...? But at £16 each it was pricey. Website stated: "and in the evening we will prepare our three-course tasting menu or regional specialties from our local farmers". There are restaurants in the vicinty - but none particularly close. Memories is in the middle of a maze of unlit country lanes. So, if you want to have a drink it isn't advisable to venture off property unless you can get a taxi - theoretically possible - and, in any event, we had been attracted by the dinner proposal. There was no tasting menu on offer - at least we weren't offered it. There was a decent enough main course on offer each evening; the dessert choice was restricted to ice cream and/or a local pastry; again all reasonably ok - but there was no starter at all. Well short of expectations; The much vaunted (on two occasions) local speciality consisted of French chicken - the apparently exotic nature of a French chicken being extolled by the owner each time. The website also suggests a welter of activities and features: skiing (presumably cross country nearby in the winter?) tennis courts, mini golf, horse riding etc. None of these, apart from a modest indoor swimming pool, were in evidence on the property. We asked about the mini golf but were told it was 19 kms away. Without having forensically addressed the rest of the vast array of things on offer, many/most of them will/may be available in season provided one makes specific enquiries well ahead of time. Whether or not you need to book a teeing off slot at the mini golf is a matter of surmise; guests are no doubt advised to check ahead and fill up the petrol tank before heading off. Once the big things are just not right, the little things you might otherwise ignore become magnified. Suffice it to say there were a few - the bathroom not being en suite being one. Upon being presented with the bill we drew attention to the owner to the difference between what was sold online and what there was and he was good enough to make a reduction. However, this should be advertised as a top rate B'nB with add ons and not as a luxury spa, which it simply isn't.…
I have nothing but positive adjectives associated with the stay at The Villa Memories. The owners and the staff were uncommonly welcoming throughout the whole week. This is a hospitality in a true sense, the one that comes from a deeper place. Thank you for the memories. Until we meet again!
