We stayed at this hotel last night. We wanted a night away and to meet up with my daughter and granddaughter and chose this hotel because their pool was open. We usually stay at Hampton Inns, but the pool is not yet open at the Hampton Inn in Marysville. The man who checked us in was polite and professional. The common areas and elevator were clean. We have made it a habit of placing our luggage in the tub when we arrive in our room and inspecting the bed prior to settling in, no matter where we're staying. My husband is an environmental services supervisor for a hospital and you absolutely want to check your bed before placing your luggage anywhere but the tub these days! This room only had a shower, so we placed it there. The room appeared clean and free of pests. We reserved a king suite and I feel it was a good value for the price. The room was at the end of the hallway, across from the stairwell. The sitting area contained a couch with foot rests, which my granddaughter enjoyed climbing on. The bed was firm, yet comfortable. Not luxurious, but comfortable. The room included a small refrigerator, microwave and a basic hotel one-cup coffee maker (not Keurig) that I don't use because I don't care for the coffee. I will add that I appreciate the coffee maker not being in the bathroom. A lot of hotels place these machines in the bathroom and, to me, that's just nasty. It's nice that this Comfort Inn had a little kitchen setup. The pool is rather small, and it was full of kids, throwing balls at one another, jumping in the pool and playing on the handrail to the steps. At one point in time, I was hit in the head by a Nerf football while in the pool with my daughter and 2 year old granddaughter. There are two tables and maybe six chairs in the pool area and the area isn't big enough to accommodate anymore seating. The pool is not very impressive, but at least it's open. It would be even better if Nerf balls weren't allowed in the pool because it just isn't big enough for that type of play and they decrease the enjoyment of the pool for other guests. Because of all the rowdiness, we only spent about 45 minutes in the pool. After settling in for the night and attempting to rest, the hallway was alive with kids running up and down the hallways, slamming their room doors and slamming the stairwell door across from our room until approximately 10:30 or 11:00 p.m., making it difficult to relax. The next morning, I was talking to another couple that stayed on another floor and they said they experienced the same thing. On the way back to my room from grabbing a cigarette and a coffee, I heard a woman screaming at a child and the child yelling back at her from inside their room. The only breakfast I saw was cereal (corn flakes, frosted mini wheats, rice crispies and raisin bran), fruit cups, a few apples, instant oatmeal, muffins, Danishes, those Smuckers peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and microwavable sausage biscuits. Drink options were pints of milk and chocolate milk; apple juice and juice cocktails from a beverage machine; and Nescafe instant coffee from a machine. They do not provide brewed coffee. I've read the other reviews regarding the coffee and it does, in fact, leave a lot to be desired. They do have a decent selection of coffee creamers, however. The dining area is open for those who wish to eat there, and it does look very nice. All in all, it was a decent stay. It could have been quieter, but that is not the fault of the hotel. I would stay there again, but I would hope it would be quieter next time. I might also add that we are AAA members and are members of Veterans Advantage. The Veterans Advantage rate was significantly lower than the AAA rate. Our room was $68 plus taxes.

Checked in for an overnight stay. Entire facility was super clean. Appears that it’s newly renovated or a new build completely. Room was spacious. Front desk staff was friendly and speedy. Breakfast was sparse but ok for grab and go. No complaints had a great stay

The location of this hotel is great; close to restaurants, shopping and the highway. Staff was very friendly upon arrival. When we arrived at our designated room, we found the beds unmade, trash on the floor, and an open Mountain Dew on the dresser. Not sure if the room was occupied or just hadn't been cleaned yet, but the front desk was quick to reassign us to a new room with apologies. The first thing we noticed upon arrival in our "new" room was that the A/C is VERY cold, which I'm sure is a big plus on hot summer days. Black out shades in the room were also a nice feature. Unfortunately, upon arrival in our room we found a used bar of soap sitting in the shower and the shower curtain liner was quite dirty. There were also a lot of crumbs left on the microwave shelf, leaving us with the feeling that the room wasn't cleaned as thoroughly as we would have desired. Spiders nests in the trash can weren't a great sign either. Aside from the outer doors that slam shut, this hotel was very quiet. As far as health and safety procedures, guests are required to wear masks in public areas, however it looked to be more of an option for employees, as some wore them and others did not.

Newer hotel. Check-in was nice, very friendly. Big room with king bed and room divider between it and the sofa. Balcony over-looking the parking lot. We slept okay, but the comforter was very heavy. The shower was open and no place to rest your foot to shave. Breakfast was good, bacon and sausage and eggs and hash browns. The coffee wasn't the best.

The hotel was great, pool good, suite perfect to sleep 6 (there were 5 of us). Close to shopping / restaurants. The only issue we had was we have never stayed at a Comfort Suites in a 6 person room & been charged extra for the children? Our on line reservation stated 2 adults / 3 children. But when we check out our cc had been charged a extra $10/+tax? Without our permission? So when we questions it , we were told it was for the 3 child? So how do you reserve a 6 person room get a price on your printed reservation & then the hotel is surprised & charges over the price without your permission? So for that reason this hotel would never get a 5 star from us or another visit.
