The hotel is not in the best of locations, it's completely outdated, and it smelled funky. For the amount they charge per night, I was expecting this to be much nicer. I wouldn't pay more than $60/night for a room like that and we got charged over twice that. The bathtub had rings and wouldn't drain. It reeked of weed. And multiple friends we knew cringed when we said we stayed here. If there are any other choices,I would encourage you to take them instead. This hotel is way overpriced and has now soured me on all Quality Inns.
Not a nice place, every super 8 ot motel 6 wud be better than this. Room was smelling like an ashtray and I don't even smoke, bathroom had old towels, toilet seat was damaged. Bed and mattress are cheapest ones. The smallest TV ever, not fun to watch. Dirty floors and bad old rusty smell of carpets in hallways. Parking lot full of pot holes. What a mess. U sit in the sofa in the room and u feel buried in it. Pls pick other hotels to avoid bad experience.
My husband and I travel quite a bit. This is absolutely the worst hotel we have ever seen. It hadn't snowed all day, yet the parking lot was not all cleared of snow. There was no heat in the lobby, downstairs or corridors of the hotel. It was cold. The pool was closed. We checked in, the clerk was very nice. Our room was not. I don't even know where to start. The bathtub was dirty. The toilet had streaks of dried pee running down the sides. There were dirty, nasty looking stains on the walls. The desk chair was broken. There was a ceiling fan in the sitting area that had a thick coating of dust on the blades. The window was dirty, and moldy. The wall by the window was crumbling. Our view of the outside included some trash and boxes piled on the ground. It was truly awful. I will say the sheets and towels seemed clean. We stayed about 20 minutes...just kept looking around in disbelief. Then we checked out. The manager was very nice and said she would call Choice and get our points back. We went to the Quality Inn Belleville. It was so much nicer!…
Got into our room and very first thing we could not close our bathroom door. In trying to find something to prop against the door I noticed how disgusting the bath tub was. There was no way I would have walked in this room without my shoes on. The bed had a white comforter that had a yellow spot that may have not been a stain, may have been fresh. The staff was nice but I dealt directly with the Choice Hotel phone number and half about a half hour on the phone with them I was able to cancel the reservation and not be charged. I should of known by the way the hotel looks on the outside and the strong smell of weed in the hallways (even though it was stressed that smoking was not allowed).
Stayed here about 4 hours. Came to see the Reformatory. Coffee pot had burnt on tea bags, BED BUG FOUND, kids running up and down the hallways making lots of noise, pool over run with kids and no parents around. When we found the bed bug we checked out. Will not stay here again
