Run down and outdated outside and in, dirty, filth on walls and curtains, scum line on bath, black line in toilet, tons of black debris in AC unit which was not sufficient to cool the room. No AC in halls or main area. Pool down b/c of covid (despite other area hotel pools functioning), ice machine not working, laundry facilities down all issues employees claim to have just happen with in days but have been mentioned in reviews for a year now. Want a nice cold coke from the vending machine? Good luck, they were sold out. Shampoo/Soap/Lotion samples were used, all of the seals were broken on arrival. When housekeeping cleaned our room the floor was never swept, I had to stop housekeeping in the hall and ask for our room to be swept despite it clearly needing it (ball field dirt, kids snacking). Several families traveling with us had room issues which could not be resolved because the entire 3rd floor had been shut down and the hotel was full despite us never seeing more than 5 other guests the entire stay. The 3rd floor had been shut down a week for "maintenance" no employee could explain but no effort was made to contact guests letting them know the rooms they had reserved for a month were not going to be available. One parent was staying with teenage boys, not her own and was only given one bed despite booking two. Due to a baseball tournament in town moving was not an option, everywhere was booked. Breakfast was a stale muffin (all bags were banana muffins no other option) a oatmeal raisin granola bar (raisins yuck) a piece of fruit and a water. No other options. Of all the people we were traveling with we were the lucky group that got the room we reserved and didn't have the AC break down in multiple rooms. I would assume the issue is there isn't enough staff to keep all rooms up and running combined with zero money being invested into upkeep or maintenance of the hotel. But hey, there weren't any bugs and the employees were friendly despite the massive pile of complaints they must deal with daily.…
This property should not have been reopened after covid shutdown. It was dirty understaffed and run-down. Starting with the parking lot which was full of weeds and potholes, through the lobby which was under furnished with dirty floors and shabby sofas, this facility was a complete disappointment. The rooms were dirty (after walking in bare feet and entering the shower I had mud!). A/C in the room didn't work the first night of the stay. We were promised a move to a different room with functional A/C, but no arrangements were made so that when we returned from work in the evening the desk clerk had to move us from a king suite to a standard room. The clerk was pleasant, but spent the entire interaction bemoaning the ineptitude of his boss.
Once again this hotel was great! Convenient for our reason if being in the area, clean and quiet. The staff is great. The only suggestion I have is they need to repair the parking lot, it is in really bad shape with all the potholes going out of the parking area.
A fine enough place to stay. Was quiet. I got a good night's rest. Breakfast was standard for hot and continental options. Coffee a little watered down. Room was a bit dirty - a half-melted ice cream bar in the refrigerator was the highlight. Exercise room was a bit below average. Had standard elliptical, treadmill, and bike, but no weights. Would like to give more like 3.5 stars, but I'll go 4 since all basic needs were met.
Upgraded maintence in bathroom with grab bars in shower, painting, new carpet w/o ripples to trip on, cleaning of carpet and detectors. Lower quality food was served and although in cambros, was not hot.
