This is not even a motel, it's a flop house. Truly the most disgusting place i've ever been, and it was about $60 dollars a night. Do not book here, there are plenty of decent options in this price range but this is not it. We booked a king non smoking room and received a queen smoking room, which gave my husband an asthma attack. The mattress was covered in blood, there was no soap, mold everywhere, and bedbugs in the mattress. If you look at other reviews this is not unusual. We left immediately because of the asthma, and the general manager has over the course of a month repeatedly refused to cooperate with giving us a refund even though we stayed for 10 minutes. Wyndham even lied and said we booked a smoking room, despite actual documentation to the contrary. The woman at the desk (who could barely check us in) even laughed as we left because she knows how disgusting these rooms are. Be kind to yourself, do not book here unless you are filming an episode of Law and Order.…
I don't think I've ever left a hotel review but this is the worse hotel I've ever seen. We checked in and then went to our room. The sheets weren't clean, there were french fries and someone's shoes on the floor and the shower/bath had standing water that was backed up. We were in the room less than 5 minutes (most of the time was spent finding another hotel to go to) before leaving. Unfortunately the front desk didn't seem surprised and Days Inn (wyndham) and booking.com (booked through) did not give us a full refund for a hotel room we didn't even stay in. Very disappointing with this hotel and the overall customer service for Days Inn and Booking.com. I wish I would've taken pictures but wasn't expecting a refund to be an issue. Do not stay here!
BE ADVISED AND DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. This is my first time ever writing a review on yelp but I felt that it was necessary for others to know about the terrible and unpleasant experience we had and hopefully encourage others to stay far away from this place. This is our experience... As we pulled up to the entrance there were many individuals crowding the building. They were blasting music, smoking marijuana, yelling and taunting our pet dogs as we attempted to enter the building. One individual in particular came out of his room and threatened to harm our dogs if they did not stop barking. Upon arrival to our room, the key card did not work and the door handle was extremely lose. It was so lose that anyone could have easily ripped it off. It took us several attempts to open the door. Ones we entered the room, we could clearly tell that the pictures that were represented on the company's website did not match to the room that was in front of us. The room was filthy dirty and unacceptable. There were stains on the bedsheets and pillow cases. The comforter had multiple cigarette burns on it. There was unknown hair all around the bed frame. The bathroom countertop was also stained and dirty. The drywall was sagging on the bathroom ceiling. Behind the bathroom door there was a large hole in the wall. The hole was not not patched up but instead was stuffed with bathroom tissue paper. The bedroom was dusty. The coffee maker was again stained, rusted and was missing the top lid. After seeing the condition of the room, my boyfriend and I chose to leave the establishment . We to checked out about 30 minutes after we checked in. I spoke with the front desk individual who reported that refund could only be given through a manager named Sarah. I was told to contact Sarah the following day. After we turned in the keys, we left the hotel with no plans to ever return again. I contacted the manager Sarah the following day to receive our refund. Sarah was quite rude on the phone and reported that no refund can be given. Sarah told us to reach out to the general manager. Sarah did not take the time to apologize or listen to our concerns about our horrific experience. I emailed the general manager and provided her with the same information that is in this review. I received no response. Please stay out of this place and take your money elsewhere. There are plenty of wonderful hotels around the Lakewood area that are not much more expensive then this place. Wyndham hotels should be be ashamed to have a place like this represent them.…
Nice hotel in a nice neighborhood just 5 minutes west of Downtown. Located near bus line going Downtown and easy to get taxi or uber or Lyft here. Of course the price is much lower here around $70. If all the hotels are sold out downtown this place has rooms because people aren't familiar with it. Definitely a hidden bargain. They also have weekly rates. Close to bars and restaurants and Edgewater Park. Close to a popular gay social club, dinners and fast food. Clean Safe and a friendly staff. A hidden gem for economy. Highly recommend!
There were cigarette burn on the blanket, urine and fecal matter on the toilet, dead bugs on the floor. I walked out almost instantly. I was afraid to touch anything. I would be embarrassed and ashamed if I worked for Days Inn.
