The B&B is perfectly located overlooking the bay and has a long history - previously the local Post Office. We booked 3 rooms & each was spacious and clean. There is adequate parking beside the rooms or on the road. Breakfast is served in the dining room - continental &/or a cooked breakfast with haggis, bacon, eggs etc to your...

Lovely little town. Our room looked out onto the main street but it was really quiet. The rooms were clean and the beds comfy. Our host, Karen, was a wealth of information on what to do around the local area. The breakfasts were delicious and big! Kept us going all day!

Perfect in every way. Karen and Bob have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. A home away from home. Karen provided us with lots of unbiased information about local restaurants, as well as advice on local sights, particularly Freycinet National Park and local wineries.

A very good accommodation, much more than normal hotel room as it is an apartment for same cost. Owner very friendly. 40 minute drive into national park. Breakfast provided but had to leave too early to consider a fry-up. Parking could be a bit tight if fully booked.

We stayed three nights at this lovely B & B overlooking the water in Swansea. Even though it is on the main road, once the traffic stops for the day it is really peaceful. The breakfast which was plentiful and varied, prepared by Bob who we didn't see was just superb and Karen is so attentive and is always imparting...

We were warmly greeted by owner Karen and given plenty of advice on local dining & attractions before being shown to very spacious and well appointed rooms, complete with private bathrooms (also spacious). Our party stayed in rooms 2 & 3, both with balconies and water views - room 3 the furtherest from the entrance / other internal doors &...

Had a very comfortable one night stay here as we meandered up the East Coast of Tasmania. Hosts, Karen and Bob run a charming B and B which is within walking distance to main amenities in Swansea. We had a queen room which was extremely clean and furnished with all the essentials and even some lovely extras - little jug...

What a lovely place it has it all, well kept clean rooms with those little extras that make a difference. Karen and Bob are great hosts giving lots of info about the island and that breakfast well just lovely. Stayed for 1 night but could recommend staying longer and visiting places from here as a base.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Freycinet Waters is in the heart of Swansea village. Everything is within an easy flat walk. Our property looks across the road to the delightful Great Oyster Bay. Water views can be found from most rooms and definitely from the breakfast room. Eat a filling 'English' breakfast while gazing out at the water. A great way to start the day. For those who are adventurous the menu includes black pudding and haggis. Our colour scheme reflects the colour of the water and the hues of the great sunrises & sunsets that you can see from the property. A 1930's style at the front of the house and a more modern day feel at the rear gives Freycinet Waters that light airy feel. Our prices include breakfast (or breakfast provisions), WiFi (the modern essential) and a small port to help you rest at the end of a busy day. ... more   less
