Only stayed for one night thankfully. The place has definitely seen better days. Open face brick inside the rooms, beige plastic bathroom right out of the 70's, dark wood furniture, the smallest to I have ever soon and a 'bedside clock radio' that was so old I wasn't even sure how to turn it on. The doors slam in all...

Rooms are very dated, but bed was very comfortable and room was very quite. We stayed two nights on our recent driving holiday around Tasmania. We were on the second floor and the view was beautiful. Hotel is right on the beach. Location is great, shirt drive to wineglass bay, but Swansea is a bit disappointing, most eateries were closed.

After coming from lovely accommodation in Hobart Waterloo Inn was a disappointment!! Everything is old and dated which is a shame as it is in a good spot. Almost double the price we have paid elsewhere. Bar staff clearly need a new job as their customer service skills are sadly lacking. Look elsewhere👎🏻

Stayed for one night with my family in Dec. We arrived late but the owner is very kind. She recommended us places for dinner. Location is great and has good seaview. Free laundry. Check-in and out were fast.

We only stayed one night as we were passing through to Hobart after a tour of wineglass bay. It was nice to park the car and walk along the beach and to the shopping precinct. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly. We had booked this hotel as it had a restaurant, unfortunately when we checked-in we were told...

Okay, admittedly we just called in for a beer, but it's our first and last. Overpriced, and OMG - so lacking in atmosphere it was uncomfortable! No music, no tv or anything on the screen. There were 2 other patrons in the bar, and it was just plain boring!

This was a good size room with a wonderful view to the beach and beyond. yes it needs a facelift but it was a good place to stay for a night. The poor lady working there was doing everything herself - bar, dinner, bookings for the hotel, bottle shop, table service and checking out - she was very busy and...

The views from the rooms were lovely, it was in a great central location and the staff were friendly...but that's about it! The bed was too small and uncomfortable, the TV was too small, the fridge was too small and the room was dated and dark. The restaurant was temporarily closed (due to lack of staff apparently) and it was...

We got a cosy room, all linens, bathroom, floors, furniture were clean. It's dated, but everything works. The location is exceptional, being right next to the beach. We loved being able to have a swim and then just walk back to our room in 5 minutes.

Overall the hotel needs a facelift. Double bed not very comfortable and most places now have queen beds. TV very (!) small . However, the staff were friendly and the location was good. Only about 45 minutes to Freycinet National Park, beaches and the Coles Bay and Wine Glass Bay lookouts. Considering the size of the town, a reasonable selection...
